Nutty Guest:  "I have reports from independent people (sic)."

As opposed to dependent "people" like children or the elderly.

george: "well, i study this stuff a lot"

When George Noory corrects your stupid goddamned ass, you have reached the nadir of everything.

UH OH!!!

George's chem trail scientist phone died, sounds like the spooks got to him!!

He was just saying that women need to rise up against the spraying when his phone disconnected!!!!

I was hoping the geothermal nuclear reactor had tunnelled through to his living room.

I am more calm now, I had to get that rant out of my system. I hear the "It's snowing here, so that means there's no Global Warming" even locally and it just drives me up the wall cause it's such a lazy point. Because Australia could be having a major heat wave but there a flake of snow here that's enough proof for the deniers. Aww

I can't stand the hypocrisy of whining about scientist being mean to him yet he's the guy who goes on public radio and called the entire scientific  community the worst possible group in recent history.

Something quick about the Bitcoin discussion. It kind of shows how much of a jerk Jorch can be at times. Jorch was the guy who took the interview into a different direction during the interview (bringing up how people are getting aggressive ) during the first hour then later on in the second hour I caller called in and give his opinion about the aggression topic and Noory told him to stay on the Bitcoin topic. What the heck, Noory the guy who took the interview to that direction in the middle of it, then talks down to the caller for bringing that subject up again?

This kook guest has twice expressed his fear of going outdoors because of all the chem trails.

I wonder if he's calling from inside a closet.

He really needs to be in a mental facility, but he'd have to go outside to be transported.

I guess they could cover him in plastic garbage bags or the big black ones used for leaves and twigs and shit.

I agree with everything you said, and don't worry..  I used to go on many similar rants when I first joined.  It's all that decompression from discovering you're not the only one who thinks George and his guests are idiots (I use that word sparingly but sometimes it just fits better than anything else).  In time you'll become numb and just throw out one-liners like the rest of us.

Can somebody please tell Jorch how much of a dumb f*ck he sounds when he says "___ is cold/snowing, so where's Global Warming?" That's literally as stupid as saying there's Burger King near my house, therefore there must be no such thing as famine. Or I live near water and have water, so there's no droughts anywhere . Wasn't it just a few weeks ago that the temperatures  were abnormally high. Again I don't mind debate, but is as narrow an argument as you can do.

I haven't had the pain of listening to George in many a moon but tonight while staying at a friends, C2C was put on within earshot for an hour (on an alarm clock sleep timer). You would think after the criticism he has had by Art and the multitudes on this forum that he might, just might, have made some kind of effort to step up his game and do some #@! research on the topics he covers. This guest "scientist" is the worst I've heard in ages, and George is still the same old drooling moron eating it all up like spoon-fed babyfood. I hate hating people, but hot damn, I really, really, hate how he continues getting paid for perpetuating such idiocy...

Morgus

Noory keeps calling this guest a "real" scientist.
But with his out-there theories isn't he more of a "pseudo" scientist at best? ;)

Wow I had no idea george was so into chem trails!!!!!

This quack "scientist" kook just bragged, "I have a page on Wikipedia."

:D Don't worry I am normally much more chilled and sarcastic than angry lol. I think I just got ticked off because just last night Noory went on about respecting others and not to offend and 24 hours later he has a guest calling his opposition Nazi's without even a comment from Jorch.

Nice call from that female caller just now.

What's more C2C predicable. First sign of snow have a global warning denier on even though the past weeks were above average in temperatures. Or whenever there's a national violence tragedy have the NRA on.

While I am on a rant, I like how Noory got all preachy about "Why do scientists have to get so personal against the deniers " or something like that. Well I don't know Jorch maybe because your a-hole guest compared  the entire scientific community Nazi in the first five minutes of the interview, and that you allowed just to slip by

Did Noory just say the winter been brutal so far? No it hasn't, it's been actually pretty calm (cold wise)

Snorge isn't paid to believe in climate change. This is Premiere/iHateRadio we're talking about here.

This "re-death to Copernicus" dude - Rick - has to be a graduate of the 'Scott Stevens WeatherWhores School of Fraud Whispering.' It's creepy how similar he sounds to the chemtrails witherman [sic]. Rick's "amen" to sNoory's simple and silly brain farts got old real fast. I prefer to keep my religion (none) separate from my science, indeed and as well. Simpleton Priest sNooron, not so much.

..........

Now I find out that vocal atheist non-believer and TRUE science lover Krauss DID NOT give his permission to appear on the film that sNoory will declare is a classic before it's a classic?  What a bunch of snake oil selling cons. Just when you think sNoory can't get any lower, you guessed it, he lowers the bar. I figured out soon after Rick started talking that the guy was there to push his religion and cast doubts about science, as sNoory constantly does.  (For example, tonight's guest has little to no evidence for his radical ideas of how the Earth was once supposed to be a gas giant like Jupiter. This just in --- he thinks relying on the science behind the global warming concept and evidence is "an agenda" comparable to the Nazi takeover of Germany and its plans to rule the world. Oh, he's a chemtrails believer, too, and an actual physicist, but not an actual climate scientist). Georgie  becomes sleazier and sleazier, so get ready for that. He's a black sheep of the Coast to Coast tradition and and a black mark on its once proud legacy You drag this program further and further into the talk show cesspool, sNooron. As well and indeed.

Great post, Michio. So many wretched moments with DeLano, but you brought one in particular back to mind. Joorch must have asked him some variation on the 'what's it all about?' question about nine times. It got really annoying. On one occasion, and I think Joorch called it the $64,000 question, it was 'Why are we here?' DeLano responded with 'To know, love and serve God '  which drew an approving 'You won't hear that from a physicist ' from Noory. Cretins, the pair of them.

I don't know much about science so I'll leave out commenting on the second half guest.  Regarding the first half guest, I agree with him on marijuana legalization and civil liberties in general and I don't care either about bitcoin one way or the other.  The only things I will take him on are:

1.His comment that 'the U.S government prints money to finance its debts'.  There are a whole bunch of guests who appear on Coast who would like to see that, but the government finances its debts through the sales of bonds that are purchased on the open market at the going exchange rates.  While the Federal Reserve did recently wind up a program of printing money, none of that money went to the government.

2.A more minor point.  He said the government controls interest rates.  Actually the government (or more accurately the Fed) controls short term interest rates. The bond market determines long term interest rates.

God what a ghoul.  And then he's got the nerve to ask "What is happeneen with this planet?"

Given that he claims the Bible is his favorite book.  It's astounding he genuinely seems to think what is happeneen is something new.  Has he actually read the Bible? What goes on in it far exceeds any of the atrocities of today with the exception of the Islamic extremist lunatics.

I'd like to ask this to Noory the next time he's hosting open lines: "So George, if I was an unhinged climate scientist who believed the reality of global warming and I heard you stating your inane and laughably incorrect thoughts on the subject, or if I took offense at the nutty claims from several of your guests that I was part of some bizarre conspiracy and I went after you, would you say that what I did was ok because you provoked me?"

This is why some people are comparing C2C to the 700 Club show.

I eagerly await the RCH weather report.

;D
It is odd that the only word pronounces correctly is 'primer.' (PRIM-er for introductory textbook, PRIMEr for guns.) When most other, more common, words, such as 'powerful' are never pronounced correctly and not even consistently pronounced the wrong way! And why are seemingly all the recent shows headlined 'why science is wrong', etc. At least Art's kook guests, even RCH, claimed they were about science (although crazy claims n theories.) Norry now is on a total science=bad bent. Bizarre.

This is funny for another reason.

In George's facile way of non-thinking, you just made a death threat against him.  You were hypothesizing about a physical attack.

I would not be surprised if he soon mentions that he's had his life threatened for the brave positions he has taken.  Threats from the haters.

Followed by:

"What's hapeneen in our world today?"

Exactly. Jorch and Corsi are so mind-numbingly stupid, they kept stating it was abusive and insensitive and basically equating it with hate-speech. Completely wrong. It's satire.
And Jorch kept going on and on about how he's respectful, and sensitive to others, and was brought up that way, and he would never do that type of thing, and blah blah blah. Yeah, he doesn't do satire. But he'll give airtime to nutcases who state Sandy Hook was a false flag, and insult the memory of all the kids that died there. And he won't open his stupid gob and state that the guest's views are ridiculous. My, how sensitive and respectful to all those kids that died.
Or he'll open his dangerously stupid gob and say things like an Iranian exchange student with a backpack, who happened to be near the Boston Bombing, is most likely the culprit. Even though there was no evidence yet, and the authorities had not made any connections between him and the bombings. But Jorch will get on the air and accuse an innocent person of a horrendous massacre, before all the facts are in. My, how sensitive and respectful.

Je suis Jorch Einstein.

YumYumTree, I really don't understand you.  You have a computer yet you complain of missing the show.  There are places where you can listen to it archived. CKNW for one (www.cknw.com).  Just click on listen, go to archives and it's 10PM to 2 AM.  I really hope this helps.

I don't have a computer at home.

I also forgot to mention that underneath the "Nelly" comment was some hostility on George's part.  It's been my experience many times that when some passive-aggressive people(George, in this case) are jealous of someone else holding forth, they turn the conversation into some sort of scatterbrained joke.  It usually backfires on them, of course.  Just a theory.

"Journalism should always comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable."

"If you draw cartoons about Muslims and get slaughtered for it, then you did that to yourself, and you should have known better."

It's funny--I've always heard that saying applied to religion, not journalism, and I think Mencken was an atheist.
