All is well, my 5 year old grandson started kindergarten today in school, my little Gavin

Where did you expect him to start kindergarten, in a crop field?

I started work today at work.

I'll let you get back to your'thread'. Be well, I mean that in all sincerity
I'm not trying to spam this thread, but every I'm going to post the Linda Stasi link every time I see he's logged in.  Maybe he'd respond if someone else posted it as well.

GEORGE, read this very carefully, I am saying metaphorically you need to stop listening to the sales people and focus groups and all that BS for a bit and trust your gut instinct. If you do and the ratings go down dramatically, return to form.

It's not about not watching the ratings, it's about not letting it dictate how you do the show. Major difference. Please comprehend that.
You nailed it. You gave him exactly what he supposedly came here for, and....he bails?

SaucyRossy

You know what add ratings, focus groups, and TSL (time spent listening) to another reason George sucks.

Wanna be original and fresh? Don't fucking conform.

My questions were basically about whether he had integrity as a truth seeker, or if it was all just fluff he didn't much care about.  I'm glad he responded but I don't feel I know any more than I did before.

Exactly. He won't address that because ratings and what the management and sales people think matters too much to him.

And what 500-1500 people at crazy new age conferences think.

500-1500 people isn't even enough for a true sampling of your audience George.

Jeebusssss titty fucking cristos. I am so frustrated.

I think he did reply-
Yup he did and it was rude!  I think he's more of a simpleton than I thought previously.  I am so glad to have signed on and had him type part of my name anyway. Did he spell the first part correctly?

Thank you.  I never thought Torgo would be hosting C2C.  :P

At least noorie likes the pizza rolls video.
I'm going to try and call in tonight.

I do wonder how 10 million listeners down to 3 to 3.5 million listeners is successful.
The mass media market is a lot more fragmented now.  The finale of M.A.S.H. had 125 million viewers.  Last weeks Breaking Bad had about 5 million.  Bottom line is all radio people live and die by ratings, and George's are good enough to keep getting him contract extensions.  I think it says a lot more about the listening audience than it does about him, frankly.

Same as any show he does, gotta give him points for consistency there.

Unfortunately, there's a lot of "trooth" in what you say.  All I have to do is turn on TV to reaffirm it.  Hundreds of channels of garbage.

I wonder where George's quack dangerous new age health healers fall...

The show is NOT as much about entertainment as when Art did it, but thats because this planet changed after 9/11.
We still do the vast paranormal and supernatural shows. But we also do conspiracies, alternative health and so much more
. I do about 10 speaking engagements a year around the country to anyways from 500-1500 people per event and they ALL want variety.
Our numbers dont lie, ratings are at an all time high. I see them every month. We had to keep pace with the changing world.
So to answer your question, it's part entertainment and a lot of truth seeking, and sometimes they cross over.

With all due respect, it is more of "We do vast conspiracies, alternative health and so much more shows and also, sometimes do paranormal and supernatural shows." Sadly, Coast has gone from that show I started listening to in fifth grade that would air after Phil Hendrie's show, that kept me awake all night thinking, to a four hour long infomercial for something I honestly don't care about. September 16th can't get here soon enough, I miss those days...

He sure can suck the energy out of a virtual room!  Kinda like what he does when he comes into my bedroom.

I wish dave could even pull off the occasional decent show. It's about once every other year as it is now.
