Who plans to call this guy on his BS when Jorch starts taking calls?
one caller did manage to get on and called the guest a fraud.
but he didn't give specific examples so Noory dumped him quickly...

Uh, I know I missed that that Sunday, July 7 was the 60th anniversary of Roswell. But did C2C overlook this event as well so that it could put on stuff about speed-of-thought energy and dreams? I haven't followed the show for  along time, but I find it astounding that nothing would have been done with this tailor-made event.
actually the Roswell crash was in July 1947, so its the 66th anniversary.
they usually only do a full show for the anniversary if its a big one like they did for the 50th anniversary back in 1997.
so will probably have to wait for the 75th anniversary in 9 years?

Roswell should be a staple of the Coast to Coast universe and with a four hour show every single night the 66th anniversary should deserve some sort of tribute.
the c2c website however this past weekend did have up a new video clip from Noory's video podcast 'Beyond Belief' featuring longtime Roswell researcher Stanton Friedman as the guest. that was probably their only Roswell anniversary tribute for this year...

The other night I had heard an old Art Bell show and a caller had told him that he thought his guest was full of it. Art then asked the guest for proof of their claims. (Maybe it was Paglini? Not too sure) That was one of the things that made Art such a great host. He wasnt afraid (or too lazy) to question the validity of a guest's claims. Noory on the other hand thinks its either disrespectful or too much work to ask any of his stupid guests for proof of their outlandish claims.

Why is everyone always hating on the Gore?
Personally, I don't have anything at all against Al Gore.  I just thought it was amusing he was born 9 months after Roswell.  Sounded funny so I ran with it :-)

George knows better than to go off on his own, away from the cue cards.  George wouldn't be able to respond other than to agree no matter what the person said after George challenged him.  Imagine the Snorge in any kind of debate about anything.

Yes!!!!!!!!  Checklist:

[ x ] Naming the first Shuttle Enterprise (may be some truth to that)
[ x ] Persuading JPL to re-image the 'Face' (ditto)
[ x ] Being the first to publish Europa's ocean under the ice (documented bollocks)
[ x ] Having the idea for the plaque on Pioneer 1 (arrogant bollocks)
[ x ] Having the idea for the Apollo 15 hammer & feather stunt (utter unadulterated bollocks)

You need to whip up some sort of hoagland bingo card

"Do you think we are they?" -George Noory. Maybe I am an idiot, but that makes absolutely no sense to me. it was such a stupid question too. To ask such a loaded question at the end of an interview..

NoMoreNoory

Out of interest, NMN made an attempt to listen to the Archon section of last night's show. It didn't last long.
?????????????????
I doubt if I've ever heard such a mountain of BS on Coast. I still have no clue who the damn Archons are. I care less. And Snoory's tired litany of 'That's right' 'Of course' 'I think so, too' when he also obviously had no clue what Lash was on about sounded more and more forlorn. The voice of a man who doesn't give a damn. If he had an ounce of self-respect, he'd quit. I despise the man.

Meanandnasty

I have an new name for emerging artists, since they have 7,000.00 plus artists to play.  By they play all of those artists, some will be dead and gone through no fault of anyone else.  They will simply age out, die of old age.  Because of this my nomination for the new first Sunday of the month show is George Noory presents Decomposing Artists, Songs From the Grave and the Afterlife.

NoMoreNoory

I used to look forward to the first Sunday in the month deliberately to laugh at the Submerging Artists. Now it just makes me angry. No matter how awful they may be, they have have taken the trouble to write and record their stuff and send it to Coast in all good faith in the hope they might get exposure on nationally syndicated radio. They deserve better than the way they're treated. 10 seconds if they're lucky and they're swamped by a VO giving phone numbers etc to contact Joorch. A few more seconds if they're lucky and they're swallowed by the news break for the local station. It is so disrespectful, and typical of the whole ethos that now permeates C2C.

I got that feeling from the comments above, even taking into consideration this is the "Noory Sucks Compendium". It seems George has plumbed new depths of awful.

His unique mix of laziness, disinterest, shallowness and verbal clumsiness seems to create a feedback loop that continues to spiral in a downward trajectory only.  He is spelunking into deeper realms of lame every time I listen.

NoMoreNoory

Absolutely.
And yet, and yet.......
Yesterday I found myself by accident back in the first few pages of this thread, more than five years ago, and almost exactly the same things were being said about Noory - and Alex Jones! - then as now. Depressing. How has he got away with it for so long? He is one of the most successful con-men ever.
Meanwhile, the full three-name Catwoman tonight Rosemary Ellen Guiley, preceded by 'transportation entrepreneur' Paul Moller, who will talk about 'his latest flying vehicle, the mini sky car'.
Can you say The Jetsons? I guarantee the Nooron will!

This skycar has supposedly been in working prototype stage for decades.  I think the main thing holding it back has been the requirement for automated traffic control systems.  At least it's a real thing and it should be interesting to hear if there are any updates on its progress.

RedMichael

This thread is getting mighty impressive at almost 900 pages long. I think to celebrate 1000 pages there should be a contest for Tostinos pizza rolls.

I'd look forward to the welcome change from the Alarmist's Hour (i.e. Hour 1), except I know how Noory handles technical topics; very badly...like all the others.  I predict he'll stall Moller's intro as long as possible, then go to callers after the break.

REG with Noory is reason alone not to listen.  And Moller?  Geesh... this guy has been working on a flying car forever.  I think he started his work before the Wright brothers took up flying.  ::)  I remember when Art had him on years ago.

"Nothing to see here, folks.  Move along please."

Pontiac?  There's probably a "Popular Mechanics" cover out there somewhere with a Moller flying car and a reference to a Studebaker vs. Hudson road test.

Morgus

Noory actually did manage to have a short few minute guest on early in the first hour tonight to mark the Roswell crash anniversary.

This model does kinda look like a Jetson's flying vehicle.

I'm no engineer, but that doesnt look like it could fly very well, let alone take off from a drive way. Its no wonder their garage door is missing. They probably blew it out into the ocean.

Rosemary is trying to interpret Noory's recurring nightmarish dream where he dreams that a bunch of people are staying at his house but won't leave.
Thats probably his fear of those he calls 'haters'

Tonight's topic:  dreaming.  George still hasn't figured out his dream about strange people coming to his house, imposing on him, and not leaving is about his distaste for having to take calls from strange people on the air every night (they're entering his 'space' and they won't go away).

coaster

Its probably because hes an antisocial twat with no people skills.

karios8

He's explaining it wrong. Its actually our collective nightmare of him not leaving C2C

"Dreams are the most fascinating aspect of uh...everything out there." Thanks George for that bit of wisdom.

Reminds me of how I always wish Art had interviewed Neil Gaiman, who probably knows more about dreams and mythology than any of George's alledeged expert guests combined.
