A caller asked why no one gets heart cancer.  Bollinger went into a reasonably detailed answer.  Within five minutes, George asked -- as if he had just thought of it -- Ty, does anyone ever get heart cancer?

I know if we catalogued every time George does something like that we would have 20 000 pages, but this one was just so blatant.

I hate to burst Ty's bubble, but "heart cancer" is indeed a very real thing.  Although extremely rare, it does exist and even has a medical ICD-9-CM diagnosis code of 164.1, malignant neoplasm of the heart.  I can recall during my pathology days hearing how rare the cancer truly is---but it DOES exist.  If "Ty" the cancer authority hasn't heard or doesn't know this malady exists, it really makes me question the veracity of what he's printing up in his line of books.  A CPA has NO medical training and it sounds as if he's totally self-educated in this topic.  Knows just enough to be dangerous.

You definitely won't hear this on C2C, so I've been meaning to let you all know that a couple of weeks ago, the Knoxville, TN  FM station that has carried Coast for years dropped it along with whatever else they used to run.  The have a new format of all country music. Yee haw!

Knoxville metropolitan area in 2010 census had a population of about 700,000 people. So far, no other station FM or AM has picked it up, to my knowledge.  One more leak in the dike ...

George was bragging about his number of stations last night - "The highest they've ever been."  Well, we hear from Scully that a station in Knoxville has dropped him.  And due to switching programming on the stations in Jacksonville, Florida, he's gone from being on three stations to being on two.

So, sNoory, you're down at least two stations from a month ago.

That's because Premiere plucked him from the anonymity of being a voice-over guy with no talk show resume. He has a "night time" voice, he says what he's told how he's told to say it, and he's cheap. Besides, he's got a mug that would scare children even with the lugs on his neck.

So his total station count is higher, but those stations cover a smaller area and total population...

yes they mentioned carnivora several times and Ty said he recommends it but doesn't sell it.
he also said that he gives away e-copies of his book free to those who can't afford to pay for it.

Not in Jacksonville's case - Coast been on a 50-kw day/25-kw night AM station since the early 90s.  Because the station has to be directional at night, the eastern part of the listening area has always gotten a weak signal.  So, in 2006 they began simulcasting on a 6-kw FM station. This past May, the moved the FM signal to a 100-kw station.  There are no more powerful stations in the US.
