Rob Zombie covering Grand Funk Railroad on Kimmel, Halloween 2013. Look for the appearance of the robot from "The Phantom Creeps." Shades of Eddie.

Rob Zombie - We're An American Band

I liked that Arthur Brown-Fire. I guess I can't hate anything with the Hammond B3 in it.

Deep Purple - Lazy - 720p HD

"Lazy" was/is my favorite song from the album, even after radio eventually went bonkers for "Smoke On The Water".... That vinyl was "magic", really;D

R.I.P. Jon Lord

Up All Night

If you ever saw Zeppelin perform this, it's special. I saw it in '77, in Houston, Dallas, & Ft.Worth.

Lazy is amazing. Its Hammond B3 music, played on a guitar, and accompanied by a hammond b3.

New track from Beck (Sept 2013), very interesting. Its good to see someone out there making some music that doesn't bore me. The only thing I don't like is the pixie singing mixed in. Too much mixing a pixie singing in a track these days (like Arcade Fire-Reflektor).

And a Tom Waits track with a similar sound that reminded me of the Beck track. 16 shells from a 30-06

I don't really care for that Beck number but that's a great ear you've got to link it to the Tom Waits tune, it didn't hit me until I listened again. Looks like it's back to music at night again since Art bailed, can't say that's all bad :) These guys played SWSW last year and I recently got hooked on them. Very simple with great chemistry:

The mood of Penitentiary reminds me of this one from Charlie Robison:

For some time I've been following the singing of Karen Eng on You Tube. She's smart, funny and it doesn't hurt that she's really beautiful, but she has an incredible voice.
Go check her out.
