Syrett hosted c2c last night (Sat) and 'ole Bill the AAA surprisingly called in for the first guest, a psychic.
The guest recommended Bill work on stopping his need to keep saying the same things everytime he calls in, like reminding everyone he is an atheist and amateur astronomer... :D

Ha, it doesn't take a psychic to figure that out! Probably introducing yourself that way and suggesting we retire to listen to tape of me calling into talk shows would get him more dates.

That guest, a guy named Cottrell, is another one of the hucksters who claims to have a PhD.  You go to his website and you see "PhD" repeatedly.   Nowhere on the site does it identify where he got the degree, although there is a small note that says:
• 2009, doctorate degree, therapeutic counselling
• 2009, ordained interfaith minister

The doctorate is probably from one of those woo woo schools with a name like the University of Universal Love and Consciousness, the ordination from some sham church.

I checked the show out last nite, and enjoyed it as pure speculative entertainment.  But I did notice this guy, a self-proclaimed expert (twice), couldn't quite describe consistently what the Akashic Field is - referring to it alternatively as a repository of human consciousness, a creativity generation source, an intuition enhancer, a place to contact the other side, i.e. whatever kinda made it sound good.

It didn't help his credibility to spend 20 minutes defending his failed election predictions.

Exactly.  At least Hogue manned up and said he was wrong.  This idiot pissed and moaned about popular votes and recounts, then said his actual prediction (2005) was that Hillary would "be back inthe White House", not necessarily PotUS.  He was willing to give himself credit for her being Sec of State, despite the fact State operates out of totally separate digs.  Of course he even gave himself an out on that explaining as a Canadian, he wasn't well versed in American government.  Shyster bastard.

I was talking to a real estate agent before the election and I asked him if he at least appreciated Trump from a real estate perspective, as a real estate tycoon. No, he just couldn't go there and then proceeded to lecture me about what's wrong with him and taking the world in that direction. This election has been the most fun EVAR!  ;D

Review of Syrett/Zygutis last night:

I was sort of on board up until he said Sagan believed the earth had been terraformed by aliens.

Zygutis' most insightful comment last night, "There are things going on within the Pentagon we are not being told about, that's just a fact".

I thought that Sagan did believe that. Seriously. Are we wrong?

How do you memorialize the last human to walk on the Moon, Gene Cernan? You call him and the other astronauts liars by inviting someone on the show who "believes" NASA hoaxed the landings, or at least in part. This is as respectful to a memory as was inviting a "truther" on the show on 9-11. There is no class in crass.

Morgus

Tonight's show is turning into a basic film photography class lesson...

michio

It's a photography class on the Earth, not a photography class on the Moon and in that peculiar environment where surface Earth conditions don't exist. The guy doesn't care. I doubt he'd doing it out of a love for the truth, but instead out of a love for money.

7. The number of photos taken is implausibly high. Up to one photo per 50 seconds.[100]

Simplified gear with fixed settings allowed two photos a second. Many were taken immediately after each other as stereo pairs or panorama sequences. The calculation (one per 50 seconds) was based on a lone astronaut on the surface, and does not take into account that there were two astronauts sharing the workload during an Extra-vehicular activity (EVA).

But who would've thought the Marcus Allen was such an expert on photography and also a moon-landing denier? Really a Renaissance man that I always just put off to a great running back.

Thank goodness Syrett said he will cool it on the politics.

Secondition half of the show they  talk about Bob Crane, if they get deep o  the kinkey stuff, it could be the type of show that will make Norry's mustache sweat.

My local broadcast went to an Emergency Alert (not official one but more 'breaking news') about APD showing up to stop the illegals who are protesting Trump n blocking traffic in a shitty neighborhood where ICE had arrested some illegals with felonies the other day. The guy though was good. He sounded more like an oldtime radio guy- how 'breaking news' or 'APBs' were announced. Old timer at station? Idk. "Now we will return you to C2C..." Also a pilot removed from plane Austin to San Fran. Was ranting about Trump and Clinton over open mic. Police and airline won't comment but flight was delayed two hours after new  pilot was summoned.

Not so fast, we still might hear the political views of this canine-snouted bigfoot.

Caller:  "Could this be a bear-dog?"

Yep, that would solve the mystery.

Zetaspeak

You bringin C Crane reminds me of my early memories of listening to Art.

I was young when I first head Art, I knew of Hogan Hero's but didn't really now what happened to Bob. So C Crane advertise on C2C and around the same time I watched a TV report on Bob Crane. I was so confused, remember this is before I got Internet.

WhIle watching the report I thought the same guy, when I figured the Bob incident happened decades before, I wondered if C Crane named his company after Bob and why on earth would you do that especially considering the incident.

RS: For an explanation, are you open to lycanthropy?  I mean, can we use the "W" word?

Guest: Yeah sure I'm open to anything on this.

Zetaspeak

That style of questionion I was expecting for the second half of the show.

Haha, Syrett hasn't become that bad yet. But that does remind back to the John Wells days when he could take any subject and turn it into a political rant.

Syrett is now doing it...guess it's now en vogue to say "Feb". Certainly, February is not so difficult to say, is it?

enjoying the second segment  :)

I always enjoy Syrett.  I think he does a great job.  Last week with Connie....well, her horrible articulation and vocabulary skills are nearly as pathetic as Noory's.  She annoys me.

Syrett is articulate, bright, and asks good questions.  And, yes.....I was very uninterested in his recent program topics.  Tonight will be just fine.

I fell asleep before the end of the second half, and am just wondering what conclusion, if any, was reached. Thanks!

Nobody knows who killed Bob Crane. DNA analysis of blood found in Carpenter's rental car did not match Crane. But the guest did have to share that he viewed all of the porn movies several times looking for clues.
