The "locker room" talk Trump describes is of the kind said by boys in high school locker rooms.

Yeah--well, this is just the beginning.  The guy is dangerous.  He suggested harming Clinton just a few months ago... I mean, that's INSANE.  We are a country of peaceful transitions of power.  That SCARES me.  Force, violence, aggression... we do NOT need more of that in the world.  We can SPEAK UP.  We can debate.  We can argue.  We can fight about our ideas.  But this guy actually frightens me.  And granted, I'm a bit of a peacenik, when it comes to this kind of thing--but my god.  He's crossed SO many lines.  What I wish/hope is that he has the grace to do what's best for everyone, and exit.

You make a good point Juan Cena.  Hope you get through on the phone tonight!

Only reason I like him still in is because he, or his surrogates on the internet, bring up more stuff about Billary's corruption etc. Ideally both should drop out, be indicted, or whatever. But in this crazy system and "reality" based politics it just keeps chugging on. I love "democracy."  :( I would love to see Electors pick someone else, regardless who wins the popular election. The system is there to do so, but it would be a really interesting thing if they did. Not sure who but would be epic.

That party is FRACTURING under him.  And it was not in good shape to begin with.  They're probably out of time to oust him and still have a remote shot at winning... and their chances are remote as it is.

That said, last night's debate was the most spirited one I've ever seen.  This game has changed, since as recently as four years ago.

I'M quite shocked that even Trump did very well in the last debate his party is against him.
In my opinion something else is 'cooking'...

It WAS priceless to watch Hillarys face during the last debate.

To me, he seemed aggressive and obnoxious--and I'm no fan of hers.

What kind of benzos does one need to be on to not even flinch when a fly lands next to your eye?

This is why from the get-go I was suspect of Trump as being some kind of stalking-horse for Hillary. I still have that in my mind because of his stuff and previous connections with Billary and old views but also think, maybe, he figured "I can beat her" after he fractured the GOP and then turned? Or maybe not but I have a suspicious in my mind. Regardless, if only these choices I will vote for him for the outside chance he can win and bring 1/3 of his rhetoric about the border etc to bear. But don't have any illusions. Still would be interesting if Electors threw the race to someone else. That would be historic and, legal? Anybody but Hillary though.

I didn't watch, tend to like to listen. But still haven't. (Was important ball game on at the same time.) But I downloaded it. You think I should watch then? Or, as I planned, listen? Sometimes, to me, I think listening gives me better focus and "tells" when people lie but, then again, it could be argue that facial cues etc?

Could be that and some botox etc that kills muscles to "tighten" your face etc. It would be interesting to see her Med List. Wonder if DCLeaks, WikiLeaks, or someone can that! Maybe hack the Obamacare Database that wants to know what all healthcare, medicines, and mental health care records has on everybody!?

This whole thing just makes me feel beaten up.  Those are some cringey debates.  Trump is going to go the way of Sarah Palin, when this is over--he's made himself into a punchline and undercut his accomplishments.  I feel sorry for his kids.  The guy just concerns me... but the whole thing seems lose/lose.

In the end, all the right-wingers were afraid of Obama being some kind of fascist.  Not even close--never is.  That's all I can hope for Trump.  If he wins--big if, at this point--I deeply hope he's kept in check and keeps this country out of the kind of danger a lot of people are concerned about.  I HAVE to believe that, in the Oval Office, he would be different than he is on the campaign trail.  I hope he's up to it.  Hope she is, too, I guess.

There's a lot of big rhetoric about a "Hitler" or whatever.  I don't, in my heart, believe either one of them is nearly so bad.  Trump's out of his depth, Hillary's a career politician.  Good reason to be concerned about both, but in the end, nobody's ever proven to be as dangerous as their opponents' supporters would want you to believe while they're running for office.

Definitely watch.  Half of it is body language, etc.  It's fascinating in a grotesque way.

All this concern with the polls seems like a waste of time.  We'll see in November--you can speculate all you want, but we'll see where it comes down on election day.

I don't think anything Trump said even comes close to what Bill DID.

No, they're all trouble. I just hope things stay peaceful. To much trouble and danger in the world already. Trump or Clinton, we need peace.

Ok, you Tincup and etc say need to watch so I will. I usually like to listen to stuff but will watch. I think though that reading and listening are more important things. It is like a slippery slope (not the supposed fallacy) to to the LCD but I would really like certified, written copies of claims, pledges, statements, policies, etc and not "reality" tv, make-up, biased moderators, select sound-bites, "gotcha", etc. Give me documented and attested written statements.

So judging from her statements on air [I'm judging by this post on her fb] sounds like Heather is getting fat, hehehe
she needs to exercise /or perhaps exorcise/

If you haven't acquired yet GS the salt shotgun gimmick thing is, actually, pretty good and will kill mosquitoes and flies (big flys might take closer action) and with our humidity these days keep your salt dry! I amused/offended some folks salting margaritias the other day.

I only hope that Bill didn't have any sexual relation with that ...fly before she was shot :P

Trump complains a lot about being unfairly cut off, etc. It's just interesting for the non verbal dynamics. There was a time i... wouldn't say I'd have voted for him, but I was listening to all. He's just crossed too many lines now. He seems aggressive and not entirely in control of his behavior.

Again, plus side is... the president doesn't do the job alone. He might have some heavy power, but I hope Trump would listen to his advisors. The scandals would be numerous.

I don't know why anyone would fight so hard for this job anyway. It's difficult and dangerous and it ages them all terribly. If Trump gets it, I guess I wish him and all of us the best. The world feels tense right now. Diplomacy before violence, always. I'd hope he's capable of it.
