What did Heather deliver? More trainwreck ?  Or has she used the down time for self reflexion ?

You're a comedian, you are!  :)

I would imagine that, were Heather capable of self-reflection, she would have thought twice before trying to hold her podcast hostage.  Being racked with grief (real or contrived) is one thing, but telling your fans on Twitter to give any guest hosts a bad time so no one else can do the show is Not Cricket.

Still, it speaks well of you that you are still willing to give Heater the benefit of the doubt at this late date.  I'm only here to see the chat show equivalent of the Hindenburg with a passenger list of one come in for a landing at Lakehurst NAS circa 1937.

I do.. early on she mention the wife..in what context I don't recall

The story was a self-serving one where Art bestowed the liners he recorded.  Airyn appeared only as a mute beatific smile hovering in the background.

The first day, either on FB or Twitter.  Other than that, I haven't heard her discuss them at all.  Of course now she's talking about showing Alex the ropes. Asia is too old, apparently.

remember when Art threatened his FB followers with quitting if Asia's YouTube channel didn't reach 5000 subs?

Did Heather use "Art Bell" bumper music? I know she opened with Giorgio Moroder's "The Chase" but I was getting nauseous listening and bailed before the bottom of the hour. If she is using this music how can she afford it (is MV2 paying for it?) or is she breaking copyright law?

Good heavens -- an allusion not only caught, but deftly returned!  You abet my nacreous profligacy, sir.

You do not KNOW that at all.

They may have an agreement to maintain privacy.

And the catcalls after her story on Alexander's "Dada" moment is likely why they'll continue to be off the radar.

Grow a brain, and some compassion.

>:(

But you didn't do it all over the radio, did you?

Who maintains far more discretion that you ever could...

That's your cynical read on it, and a poisoned read at best.

I think the greater disappointment is that she's openly USING her audience for Foolsbook, USPS, and at some point, phone line grief counseling.

That part I find childish and overly needy.

Lasha??  Is that you?  Account registered May 9. Hmmmmmm.

Indeed, when there was a threat of the stalker who was prowling around outside, he encouraged his daughter to make her online presence so much more..  ::)

Last night I had to borrow an actual monkey to dance for me since Vara didn't go live. Where is the cocksucker, anyway?

Quote from: Gwifynne on May 29, 2018, 01:18:25 AMTurkey has made an enduring contribution to the world's cuisine with its diverse and important gastronomic history and classic--simple yet rich in flavors--recipes. Turkish cuisine is a colorful mosaic, enriched by the recipes and techniques of many ancient cultures--Phoenician, Hittite, Roman, Byzantine, Arab, Persian, Chinese, and Greek--and the creativity of the cooks and the geography of the regions they lived in.
Inspired by the best of regional cooking, this unique and masterful collection of recipes shares a rediscovery of timeless authentic, healthful, refreshing, and easy-to-prepare Turkish dishes--from classics to lesser known family favorites, and even lost recipes. Written with a zest for food and culture, this book is packed with the delights of Turkey's regions, from the Black Sea to the Mediterranean, from Europe to Asia, the Aegean to Anatolia.

Using only the healthiest and freshest ingredients--from fresh fruits and yogurt to vegetables, fish, poultry, and meat--the regional recipes are cooked in an infinite variety of ways, with exciting flavor and texture combinations. Eggplant alone can be prepared in more than 40 different ways. In areas where fish, meat or poultry weren't available, cooks created outstanding recipes that utilized grains, pulses, and vegetables.
And yet, no turkey.

As Vara said to Heather, This is what you can get with a Billion listeners in a Million Countries if you join my network and as an added service you get the Mighty LNM Sheild of Redundancy for your protection.

After last night's self-indulgent claptrap, I'd say the audience is in sore need of the Cones of Silence for its protection.  :(

To hear the guest well, I had to make Dave uncomfortably loud.

Still a damn good show.  This is the kind of examination of a topic I wish for radio generally.  Mr. Schrader's good at it.

As much as I despise her show, I'm guessing her upcoming package opening show is going to provide a lot of comedy. Can't wait to hear her open 23 packages from Paul and Ella.
Oh dear. I sent her a puppy. Im thinkin' it probably should be fed, and maybe pee'd. Golly...I hope the little furball is okay.
Its only been in there since...ummm...April 28th.

The high point was when he suggested they didn't have enough time to discuss the next thrilling installment and she clearly aware that there would be one hell of a lot of dead air blurted out "Oh yes we have".

I remember seeing a quote from Ian Punnett on BG that said, in effect:

If you can't 'fill' for a five-hour show, why are you even in the business?

Why indeed?
