Conclusion:  She pegged the meter.  It was her incompetence.  You'd think 2 years of practice would have gotten her further along if she was paying attention.

Speaking of theme music, Dave could always recycle decades old news themes... Killer Tracks is one of my favorite yet one of the least used composers. Though Fox 1998 is my favorite, "Night Mountain" and "On the Phone" would fit MITD well both in sound and title. And if you ever get tired of Bellgab it's a great place to go to hear every news theme ever used on the planet ever.
