I'm copying the same reply I had to Mild Bill:

Not girlfriend!  >:(  ;)  ;D  Ex coworker and someone I couldn't stop admiring during that time (probably being creepy I guess..LOL)  We are just hanging out on occasion. I enjoy her company.  She turns heads, and I'd be lying if I didn't feel great just being seen with her.  8)

You must be a thrifty guy in real life, Shay.  LOL!

If you're enjoying each others company, who cares who pays ;D

It's a sign of where things are and her interest in Shay. Trust me.

Ask her to hang out again and pay. That is a date. If she doesn't let you pay it wasn't a date.  Just some friendly advice from the other side. :)

Going dutch is still a date right?  Actually I really am not thinking of this as a date at all.  Trust me...I'd love for a shot but I'd rather just take things as they come and not press.  Basically, I'm fucking lost and I don't want things to be awkward, etc.  We worked together for 5 years and always had a good time.  I'm not being defeatist when I say this, but I am fine just seeing her whenever circumstance will allow.

Right.  Just be natural.  Don't think about things too much.

I'm gonna mega crapps out. I will give the Bowie a shot. Love you all. Keep your mega dildos strong.:D

Mild Bill.  I'm sorry I spazzed out on the other thread.  I didn't want to get into a religious discussion because someone had complained so I was trying to stifle my replies.  Not be overbearing and I'm afraid I came across as a bit overbearing and rude.   We may disagree about those things but you seem like a good guy.

No worries. No apologies necessary. I know you're a good guy, and that's all I need to know. Be well and have a great weekend :)

That seems materialistic though.  :-\   I typically do offer to pay if it's a date.  Last time wasn't (to me).  Problem is...I'm broke.   ;D

Just look for the little things...hints.....  Don't overanalyze though.  That can mess you up.

You are correct.  Great advice....truly.  I would over analyze because I haven't dated in 18 years.  Quite frankly...I really do not want any commitment.  But that is a future thing.  I'll just relax and take it as things happen.

Are you Dutch? ;) It can be a date but, for me, that is just hanging out. Letting a guy pay is a sign of a date. It's a way of her letting you know it's a date and her potential interest. But one date doesn't mean we want to be in a relationship necessarily just that we're giving you a chance.  At least that is how I did it and pretty much all my friends.

Just invite her out to dinner some time. It'll only be awkward, if she doesn't want to go out for dinner, and you make it awkward. But she'll probably say yes if she enjoys your company.

Maybe offer to pay when you have some money.  I don't know.  Do you think she might like you in that manner?  Any hints.  If not, she might decide you are getting some wrong ideas and back off the friendship.  We could use your input, Sandra.

Really just go with the flow.

I may be a feminist but I did enjoy the benefits of being female when I was dating and single :)

YEAH!  From the waist down.   :D

;D

I appreciate the advice my lady.  I'm still a bit fractured on what I want.  Right now...it's something simple and casual.  I will pick up a check though.  ;)  ;D

Thanks man!  8)  I knew that one though.  ;)  Many others too.  ;)

I don't care if guys like me as more than a friend, it's only when they get creepy and be a "nice guy" when rejected that I distance myself from them. That is always the biggest fear of a friendship being destroyed.
