So did Art dump him or was the interview over? I must have missed that part and was too excited by the prospect of real Open Lines.

Le Dump.  His cell phone kept loosing the connection and that was enough for Art.  Art tried though...

I missed what Art said about the crying baby.   ..........

I always thought Art was a PC guy.   Do I have that wrong and is he a Mac guy?  Anyone know ??

During his interview with Professor Kaku last week he said he has a device running Windows 7. And tonight he said he has an iPhone 5.
So, I guess, why not both?

5 or 6 foot tall alien with pinchers walking around the house?   :o

I believe his computer is Windows 7 and his smartphone is an iPhone 5 which isn't a strange.

In the past (and I mean 90s/early 00s past) he was never a Mac (as an alternative to the PC) fan. That was prior to the iMacs and intel Mac Pro laptops so I'm not sure what his thoughts on it is now.

I'll say it again: it's odd that the story of the "Ely UFO crash" has never surfaced before. I mean, with lots of witnesses AND aliens wandering about, How could all the veteran UFO researchers miss it?
Someone posted a news piece about it where they came up empty on evidence and personal accounts.  I guess they didn't talk long enough cuz the people of Ely must all be related to Columbo; just when you think they are done, all if a sudden they have a boatload of pictures and space ship juice and parts.

Oh yes, the more devices the merrier.   Thanks.

Thank you for phrasing it better. A bit new to this and so am not as skilled at being succinct.  :)

I'm with you there. I mean, sure, weirder things have happened, but for something of this alleged magnitude to be so unknown, especially if it was 5 years to the date after Roswell, doesn't add up right.
Yeah. I mean, we are not talking about a handful of people having a UFO sighting - there are thousands of those and they just go unreported and/or unknown to the general public. What allegedly happened near Ely is as big as it gets.

I remember him being rather fond of XP b4 has last departure but did think he was a PC-er.  Just curious and deep down didn't want to think that he had defected to the Mac side of the world..   8)

There's actually quite a few accounts of UFO crashes that for some reason have sparse information about them. The Cape Girardeau, MO retrieval is one. There's some out there, but for what allegedly happened you'd think it would be on level with Roswell. But it's not.

I dunno when I first read this weeks guest lineup and tonight being about the ely UFO crash I recognized it right away. I could not remember when or where but I had heard of it before. Then on a search engine I typed it in and there are plenty of websites out there mentioning it. I think maybe the veteran UFO researchers just discredit it?

Supposed witnesses in multiple states, possible destroyed public property (the railroad), strange metallic beings/creations chasing children to their homes, and then circling the home, Liquid covering the craft that has then turned to what is described as "like volcanic rock."
I totally agree. IF this is legitimate, it would have possibly been bigger than Roswell, bigger than the Kecksburg acorn, etc. I want to give him the benefit of the doubt but.. I'm just finding that his attitude and mannerisms set off alerts of things not being as he is stating.

I agree his mannerisms are odd. I posted a pic on here of Jeremy and his "investigations" group. Even in that pic something seems a little fishy. I think he could be indeed a fake and attempting to gain publicity or the like. Listening to the replay now I am getting some weird vibes too. I think it is more than him being nervous.

There are alot of little red flags in his speech that say, "I'm making this up as I go along."

Maybe its just me, but it almost seems as if he has a story or script that he has rehearsed, and has rehearsed telling it from start to finish, but Art asking questions and jumping around makes him stumble, get lost, a bit confused, and reveal the flaws/problems that would not be as apparent if he told the story without interruption, especially interruptions that make him think, or have to change course to another part of the story.

popple

I never really thought of that. I really hope the story and history is true because it is interesting.

AshamanWolf

I hope they are true and he was just incredibly flustered and prepared poorly, but as others have said, it just seems like lots of red flags are appearing. Maybe I am just overly cynical.

Heather Wade

Oh, don't get me wrong, it is a great story, and I am enjoying the show very much.  There's just something a little off about him.  Can't put my finger on it, but... you know?

sleeplessinca

Isn't he kind of the opposite of the freezer alien guy?  That guy had clear memories of everything.

Exactly. Its just a feeling that everything isn't right, and isn't adding up.

I missed this bit.  Honestly, the Charlie brown teacher voice put me to sleep and I'm picking up the second half right now.  Did he get to the part about the space ship syrup yet?

Yeah, Dr. Reed had very clear memories of the events he recounted, and you could hear the emotion in his voice as he shared those memories. While listening to the replay and talking to you all, it almost strikes me that Jeremy is coming across as a very pushy salesman in a way. Art asks something, and the response seems to usually be "Well no, but check THIS out!"

Art asks if his rock has been tested, Jeremy replies "No, but I saw this other rock twice!"

Ah, nope, no space ship syrup yet!  Unless his 'parts' are solidified space ship syrup.  Wow, this is some crazy stuff.

sleeplessinca

He is having to reconstruct the incident since it happened 30 years before he was born, it kind of makes sense that it would be spotty.

sleeplessinca

Art is so much more patient with him than I would be.

I hate cell phones. Makes me long for the days when you had to use a land line and you could understand everything that people said
