20130923 - Jeremy Meador - Ely, NV UFO Crash

Great company for sure.  Amazing minds meet here.
That said, I saw the pictures.  I see why he was not really wanting to share cuz they are disappointing.  Piece of a male hose fitting in an adapter, chunk of plastic and a metamorphic rock. The rock could be a meteorite or slag like Flipper said.
The crater was noteworthy and the snowy landscape was pretty.

Just poking around his site when these lines caught my eye:

The Ely Daily Times newspaper wrote a story on the incident and remains to be the smoking gun of the landing story along with the eyewitness reports.

For a more detailed version of the event, check back for a FREE copy of the upcoming book "Destination: Ely!" or schedule a media appearance.

It might just be my opinion, but if you know of a 'smoking gun' to a story, I'd think you would at least link to where it can be found, not vaguely hint about it, and if you want people to take you seriously, and get the information out, put it on your site, or a separate site with a link, not promise a book in the future, which means if you want to know now, you have to schedule a media appearance, and I am admittedly skeptical about those being free.

(Those lines are found on this page, if anyone is curious)  http://elyufocrash.webs.com/a-second-incident

It looks like a story should be there and Art pulled out all he could.  It's back to bed for me.  Night all!

Heather Wade

Kind of dodgy, right?  Interesting that Art was happy to have any excuse to drop him as soon as he gave out the link to those disapponting photos.

Pleasant dreams (Of space syrup, if you so wish)

Here are the pictures. There are two on Art's site, and the rest that are uploaded are found here. http://elyufocrash.webs.com/apps/photos/

Thank you for the link. I need to research this Project High Range.
I saw an entrance sign full of bullet holes. Yep, thats Nevada.

Nighthawk

For some reason I can not access the ely ufo crash website or view the photos. I just assumed the server was overloaded. I guess not caus you guys all seem to be accessing it just fine.

I agree with all of you that Art pulled as much of a coherent story from Jeremy as he could, which only stands as a tribute to how truly great a host and interviewer Art is.

It almost makes me wonder if Jeremy didn't know who Art Bell is, and the caliber of host he is, or maybe he felt that Art had atrophied during his absence, no longer be on his game, and would, as RCH said, "Roll over like a limp noodle." Thankfully, as Art has already proven, he has done anything but atrophy.

Yeah, I don't think Jeremy knew who he was talking to.  One must do their homework to be able to hold their own with the master.

Nighthawk

Interestingly Jeremy has just posted a reply about his dark matter appearance on his blog. Here is the link - http://king-sasquatch-bfpteam.blogspot.com/

Also, I heard him say the GIS are having family problems.  Hope they are ok.  I think they were supposed to be on tonight and Jeremy was a last minute fill-in.

The callers are cracking me up.

Just went and looked. I'm a bit amused by how he seems to think he was so unjustly slighted after they lost connection twice. Thanks for posting that, its.. interesting to see into his reality.

I feel like Art tried really hard with him. He had more patience than I would have. At times I could hardly follow what he was saying. It must be extremely hard to conduct an interview like that. Perhaps if he gets a landline he will be able to come back and get more into the story. And hopefully he will have his material a bit more prepared. Art cannot be blamed for a crappy cellphone connection cutting out multiple times...

Agreed.  Art wants straight answers to his questions.
As a rich man once told me, "If I ask you what time it is, don't tell me how to make a watch.  Tell me what time it is!"

This kid should have been a bit honored to be on Dark Matter.  Anyone else would be.

C'mon, any bellgabber here would have had their thing together for such an opportunity.

Jeremy is starting to look bad before he gets started.

"I'm a working man, Art.  Which is it, the CC or the Baygen?"

Agreed, if you don't know who you are talking to, and their interview style, then trying to trash talk them, just makes you look horrible

Whitley Strieber will show him how it's done on Thursday, ha haa.

Gotta work in a few hours, looks like its time to try to sleep. It's great to have found a sanctuary. See you all tonight!

Earth Pod

It's very nice to have Art back on the airwaves w/his lovely bumper music in tow.  Roswells..

basswood

He officially goes down in my book as the worst guest in the long history of Dark Matter  ;) At least the open lines were good!

area51drone

I'm an hour and 45 minutes into the on demand.  I don't think it's too terrible - bah, as I write this, Jeremy got cut off.  LOL   Seriously though, he's just not an experienced interviewee.  I think the guy knows his stuff, he just needs some practice telling the story in a fluid way.

Sleep ?

Nobody who's ever listened to Art sleeps.

Its why we're on here and the web for hours before, during, and after his shows.

We're PROFESSIONAL insomniacs.

DON'T try this at work !

I think you guys need to cut the kid some slack. After all, I've never heard of anything twisting 48 feet of train track like it was taffy before.

The guy must be a newbie to the UFO field or he would have known how to handle himself in an interview.

Now if someone would go up to Montana and research the crash mentioned in one of Keyhoe's books.

I emailed the local editors and they'd never heard of it, though they did admit it was waaaay before their time.

And I want to say how sorry I am to hear of the passing of Jesse Marcel, Jr. I met him at a UFO con when he was selling his book and he was very gracious, but was absolutely mobbed by people.

Another seeker of truth taken by the reaper.

:(

I missed what Art said about the crying baby.   ..........

I always thought Art was a PC guy.   Do I have that wrong and is he a Mac guy?  Anyone know ??

i've always known him to be a PC guy, not mac... but who knows if that's changed.

Hawk

LMAO, the guy's website is no longer accessible b/c it's exceeded its monthly bandwidth allowance.  Nice... [EDIT: I tried again and his website worked... maybe it goes out at certain times depending on the amount of traffic at that moment?]

I heard some of the live portion last night, about a half hour into the show, and more of it this morning during the replay.

My B.S. meter was on high alert with how inept the guest came across. Art is a master at steering conversation... he knows how to slow down the pace so that the depth of the discussion can be properly built. This guy was still all over the map and came across as not having his story together. I don't buy into such UFO/alien bodies in the first place, but when the guest has his story straight, it's fun to just go along for the ride. This guy made that impossible.

I just sent him an email asking him if he still uses only a PC or whether or not he finally uses a Mac as well.

It will be interesting to see if he replies or not.
