That's not a bad idea, since the Philadelphia Weekly article is nearly ten years old. I'll reach out to Vincent and Lisa (and possibly Kevin Bell from the comment section, though it's going to take some digging to substantiate his claim) to see if either one would be willing to be interviewed, on Gabcast or whatever feels most comfortable.

I find it interesting that people have popped up to respond to the assertion that the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy don't exist. However, nobody has yet reasserted their firm belief in an actual, dyed-in-the-wool, no-beating-around-the-bush stalker.

Is this not also an enduring belief or legend? Maybe not.

There would have been more credence attached to the stalker story had Art said that he was doing everything possible to catch the guy AND he was looking forward to returning to his program as soon as that happened. 

Instead, nope, we're doing next to nothing to catch this evasive person and no, there will be no return to the program. 

Sure, there may have been some happenings around the Bell compound, but it took a creative mind to pull those into a stalker scenario.

How many times do rational people have to state that they believe that Art was actually harassed at his home?  Weekly?  Daily?

I think it's idiotic to believe otherwise, but I realize that anyone dumb+paranoid enough to keep questioning it aren't going to be convinced unless the perpetrator is caught, and that's not going to happen.

And this whole business of digging into the man's personal life, and even talking about contacting his kids to feed the hate porn around here, is just creepy and contemptible.  Have some dignity, for chrissakes.

Uh, uh, uh. I said "an actual, dyed-in-the-wool, no-beating-around-the-bush stalker." Not the same as "harassed at his home." This is why I stick to the ASS (Assumed Stalker Someone) acronym, which conveniently straddles the line, giving credibility to Art's testimony without assuming that the culprit is a full-fledged and committed stalker.

I reiterate, however, my belief in the existence of the Tooth Fairy. First, despite Ge's suggestion, I didn't have any neighbors rich enough to have their wealth redistributed and second, I thoroughly questioned my parents all those mornings after and they totally denied knowing anything about any change left under my pillow. I believed my parents as much as anyone believes Art. Plus, reports and evidence of the Tooth Fairy are in great supply. Unfortunately, we don't have a similar situation with Art.

Agree, by the way, on the family chatter. But then, he is a man of mystery and these things tend to go with that territory. Not a defense, just an explanation.

I'll give you a run-down, I'm OK with a little socialism. There was a lot of shit posting by new posters then there was a bit of conversation about how they were paid shills and then suddenly the shit posting stopped and there was some actual conversation. Then someone posted a video of a young girl dancing (which by the way made me throw away some boots I had that looked like hers). Now we are back to good old fashioned arguing.

VoteQuimby, I get it. I don't think there should be any such interview(s). However, I think discussing his past (that has been factually documented) is fair game. Including his former wives, and his children. As long as it's done legally!

No, I think that would be WRONG to mess with Heather. I actually give her credit for stepping up to the plate and doing such a HARD job, especially doing open lines and being able to pull it off. Most radio veterans would have a hard time doing open lines without a call screener. Me personally, I dont care for her as a radio talent, but many people do like her and think she is doing a good job. To each their own. As far as who would interview Art's adult children, I don't see MV wanting to touch the subject, I may be wrong.  MV, do you care to address this?
