Anyone know the sad story of Morton Downey Jr?

I'll spare you all the details (if you're not familiar with where I'm going) but the parallels here are undeniable and I feel the answer to all of this is contained within Morton Downeys downfall and the surrounding events.

I have been subscribed to Hoagie and Art's shows since day one. I know what has been going on and do not need you to filter it for me through your eyes and opinions.

I have never called Falkie. I don't even have his number. He makes youtube videos, he does not have a radio show that anyone can disrupt.

Oh I did the next day. I also read on this forum where only part of the pranks calls were left in the podcast, the others were edited out. I caught the podcast. I can only imagine what the live show must have sounded like.

All this was reported to the Police, I did not report the call threat, Heather did, I confirmed it to the Police. Jeez all you have to do is read. At the time I didn't think much of it and still don't, it sounded like a kid. As a matter of fact we have a pretty good idea of who it might be but I can not talk about that here and now.

The threat is still real and we are really on edge.

I have no idea why people keep saying no Police report was filed, it was each time. I guess people just choose to believe what they want.

As much as you follow politics, surely you must see what is going on here.  The opposition always sends operatives over to the other candidate's rally to disrupt things and make unfounded charges.  It is a reason that I have become a-political.  I realize how foolish all of it is and refuse to participate.  This site is a place for your supporters to rally.  The trolls amongst us are operatives of the opposition.  Please do not overlook the numerous supporters that you have to focus on a few instigators.

I don't think Art has ever been subjected to this kind of psychological warfare before, so naturally he would assume that the hostile reactions here are legitimate public outrage.

But I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who's arrived at the same conclusions you have, for the most part.  I don't know if they're all "with the program" or if many of them are just being "baited" to keep the pressure up, but I've never seen anything like this before and it reeks of the kind of covert online operation outlined in this PowerPoint presentation leaked by Edward Snowden.  Plus, the timing with the whole stalker thing does not look like a chance coincidence:
