Have you thought of how your mind is going to cope with talking with that dickhead if you actually get in? To some people, that would be like or worse than certain types of torture. It could stick in your head a while..just sayin.

Yes you are right.  I need to take a step back and take a deep breath

That is one thing that is "classic" about Dave.  Dave is the classic example of getting what you pay for.  Then again, I personally wouldn't pay Dave a cent for his craptastic version of C2C.  PremRat should be demanding a refund from Dave.

Acording to famouswiki, George has a net worth of 2.4 million.  Not bad if true though I'm guessing it's only based on similar people of his celebrity status.

I would like to reiterate my earlier post with exhibit 'A.'

On ArtBell.com, the 'R' in 'Radio' links to a video news story about Art's return where they note that 'their own' George Knapp is currently on Coast to Coast 2 nights a month.  Of all the video and audio links on Artbell.com, this is the only one that mentions the current Coast to Coast AM, with no mention of George Noory on any of them.  My guess is that this is Keith's way of saying Knapp will be somehow involved in Dark Matter.  Am I reading too much into this?

KLAS is a Vegas station, which makes it the local Pahrump station, or the closest thing. I wouldn't read anything into it other than a shout out from the home town station, which is also where George works most of the time. That's how I see it, nothing secret or hidden there.

I have zero problem with what Ian said. Seems like he holds art in higher regard for not immediately destroying c2c. More of a compliment.

Yeah, this^^

Nobody ever seems to remember that Ian was handed Coast, but at the time he was finishing his seminary school and leaving radio for good. When he turned it down, that's when they gave it to Dave. That's got to hurt.

ooohhh, so there is a way to do it. Yessss!
Could you please point me in the right direction.

"Find" yourself a copy of Adobe Audition or Cool Edit. Should be easy enough to come by. From there, it's just a matter of looking at the waveform & snipping out ol' Mush Mouth.

The same folks who are always knocking him also all seem to be Knapp fans.  Well, Knapp is still with Coast.  Where is all the outrage from his fans here?

I'm a fan of Knapp and Ian. I think most people like both. I think the split would be Ian/Knapp vs. Dave/Wells.

Renaldo

I think 99.995% of you are all missing the point here.

You can complain/argue/theorize/bitch/moan/whatever about who's going where, who's on who's side and what's that all about.  All of it is entirely meaningless.

The real thing here is, who is JC going to be calling from now on?  Is he jumping back to Art? Sticking with Dave? Giving up entirely? What JC does will set the pace.

Okay thanks for clarifying.  I forgot how close Pahrump was to Knapp's stomping grounds.

That sounds like too much work. I want a program that I can bulk import my 1300+ files into and have the application scan them and remove the offending waveforms for me. Kinda like an Anti-Noory Virus Software.

Also, how effing awesome is it that Art's back? I can't wait to hear him on the air again, doing whatever he wants, saying whatever he wants, and having a kick ass time.

You are quite right!!!! JC always focused on Bell until he had no choice but to go after Dave, Punnett and Wells too... so I would expect JC (if he is still alive and well) to re-focus on Art....

^ The man knows how to get to the crux of an issue.

I know one thing I won't miss is when Dave has one of his schpecialists on to comment on a headline, and they barely get out a sentence or two and he cuts them off giving out their web address...

Coast wouldn't be the parody it is, if Ian would have taken it.

It would NOT be a parody... but it would still be less than it was....  No disrespect to Ian... he is just NOT the personality Art was/is.......

Well not sure if anyone suggested this but for those who can't afford it, why not find people in your area and split costs? Seems to me like if you subscribe to Internet listening only you could log into the same account from multiple computers/devices.
the internet package only allows one internet device logged in a time for one account though, so people sharing with different internet devices on a single account would have to log in and listen at different times.
a couple people could share an account at the same time if the account has both regular satellite radio plus internet added on (extra cost) then one person could listen on a sirius radio ant the other via the internet.

Agreed there is no replacing art. But honestly I don't even blame premier for trying dave. I blame them for keeping him for so long.

That's about 1.2 Million per decent show he has given us since 2003.

I don't know WHO to blame.... and probably never will until and IF... Art ever tells the 'real' story of his 'retirements'.....

which JC?
the first JC that called Art in the 90s or the obvious fake/impersonator JC that called Noory in the last several years that Noory could contact via phone when needed?

I don't know if the real JC would pay for a Sirius subscription though...

I got bored..

BWAAAHAAAHAAAAA!!

Possible Captions?....

"Øi höeden gätsk blæuden døuensk?"
"Right you are."

"Oh, boy! I love checkers!"

"Soooo, heard any good jokes lately?"

"Hey, I'm really not all that good at chess. But Tommy loves to play!"

"No, I haven't been sick since I was a kid. Why do you ask?"

So it's kind of like the two Darrens on Bewitched.  Was the JC in the 'Shatner is a Canadian Spy' bit linked recently on Artbell.com the original?  I knew JC's schtick was getting pretty lame but I didn't clue into it being a different guy.

If there is anyone in the Baton Rouge area that doesn't think they can afford it, I'd be happy to pay for a monthly subscription and you pay the added Internet cost. $3.50 a month. PM me if anyone is interested.

Someone just asked Dave if he was going to be on Art Bell's new show!

"No. Absolutely not. Not unless he invites me."

EDIT: guest is Tim Ball, climatologist.

Roy Hinkley

there we go, caller asked if Dave would be on Art's show and he laughed and said "NO! absolutely no, unless he asked!"
