An observation, Kevin Smith has only aired one new show of his on-line internet radio show in the past 2-weeks. This fits into my theory that Kevin may be holding meetings with Art, planning a new independent late night show. Is Kevin in Pahrump, Nevada? I'd bet my non-existant $10,000 on that outcome. Is the reason the recent faux backaway from signing with a Broadcasting Company, because Art is creating his OWN company? I'll bet that above $10,000 on it. The Cardinal City Borefest is on quicksand in relationship to his stations, they will melt under his feet at the voice of Art Bell from "the desert of the sea"!

Hello coastgabbers, fans of Elflord and the haters of Elflord. I hope that everyone is having a good day. On an earlier post, someone said that Fort Rock and I should go one on one. I will not do that for many reasons one is that Fort Rock is a star trek fan and he is a red shirt. So it will not be a fair fight and the red shirts are the walking dead of star trek. Second is that fort rock is a good guy. Third reason is that we all have a common person that we all hate. The person is Mr Snoory. Just remember that. When Snoory quits, retires, and/or gets fired from C2Cam, then I will retire from this forum. Just remember that most of the people on this forum enjoy Mr Art Bell(the real one). I may not be this forum as much as i was in the past. I'm just pacing my self. I hope that everyone has a great weekend. Goodnight to my fans, haters and Art Bell fans.

Been a lurker and now thought I'd register and join in since I'm a long time C2C listener (from mid 90s) and Art Bell fan. I remember when Art wasn't happy with Mike Siegel (that he didn't get it, well he didn't we can all agree I think) and he said George did get it when they had him coming aboard. My thought is where did George lose it that Art no longer finds C2C to his liking (and most of us that is).

We've all heard the ham radio audio about Art and the L.A. PremRat stuff with George basically being anything they want him to be. Think its just that George took a turn and got into bed too much with PremRat and lost that thing he had when Art liked him initially? At this point there's no going back, George is PremRat's puppet.

I've been a streamlink member for over 8 years now and these days I keep scrolling each night trying to find an episode that interests me.  It's not just George but the topics are just so uninteresting to me compared to years ago. I don't know if its PremRat is doing all the guest arranging or if George is or a little of both but no one seems to be getting it right imho..

Just wondering what everyone thinks Art's perfect idea of a fixed C2C would be, I'm sure everything... but I'm wondering if we think its topic, hosts, or the corporate side that's mostly got him riled up.

Crosses fingers Art does something someday, but if he doesn't I respect his wishes and thank him for all we've received from him in his career.

My guess is George is a better BSer than Siegal was.  Also, it takes awhile to realize George asks the same set of questions no matter what, that he starts fresh with the guest each time no matter how many times they've been on before (for thuh new lissners), that he isn't really listening and is incapable of asking the followup question.  It takes several shows and a person listening fairly closely to realize each flub is not an isolated event - for someone not really listening that often or that closely, it can take quite awhile to catch on.

I doubt if anyone at PremRat stays up and listens to assclown Noory, or for more than a segment here or there if they do.  They can't possibly realize how wretched he is at the job.

The worst thing about George is the complete lack of effort.   My guess is his group is in charge of scheduling guests, but that lazy George delegates that to someone else (Lisa?) and doesn't really care.  And that someone either doesn't care either, has some agenda, or just does what's easiest also.  And  what is easiest is to have the same shitty guests on all the time, which happens to also be easy on George so he doesn't mind.

I swear you could have repeated the previous visits these guests had and you'd find 75% of it was identical.

Makes you laugh when George talks about his full days of prep he does for his radio guests. I've seen him say that a couple times during his live chat sessions with Coast listeners when they do those. Prep for what? If he does no creative control and doesn't need to come up with new questions!

I've given up on Coast. Only tune in when Knapp is on and Ian hosts something somewhat interesting. I've tuned into Ground Zero and enjoy far far more than C2C. At least you can tell Clyde Lewis puts in a honest effort at show prep.

 I just found this forum tonight. I am so glad to have read posts in this thread that articulate a similar, and in some cases verbatim disgust with what George Noory has done to the show. I had started listening to Art Bell back in 96 when I was working in the clinical lab at Vanderbilt U in Nashville. There was a local FM station that carried the show, and I listened every night. I even tuned in when I wasn't at work.
I was saddedned when he retired for good, but decided to give the new guy a chance. I had my streamlink and enjoyed it at first. It wasn't until I was working in a microbiology lab in NC about 4 years ago, that I had the chance to actually listen attentively to the show. It was then that I realized what an utterly, clueless, inarticulate douchebag George Noory really was. I found myself getting extremely frustrated, and angry over the excessive amount of phone calls he was using to do his job. In disgust I cancelled my streamlink, and have only tuned in on rare occassions to see if the situation has improved, obviously it hasn't, in fact I believe it has gotten worse. I hope that there will one day be an alternative program, with a host that actually gives a crap about his show. If Art was to come back with his own show on a different network, I think that would probably spell the end for Noory, I could only hope so anyway.
I have heard of a program called Ground Zero. Have any of you heard it? Is it any good? It isn't available in my market, so I am going to see if I can find some free podcasts online when I finish this.

Pope Noory will become the anti-Christ. Pope Noory will TRY to take over the world and everyone will be bored to death. The only person that can save us is Mr. Jesus H Christ and his super sides kick. Jesus’s side kick and right hand man is Mr. Fort Rock. The two will send Mr. Noory back where he belongs. After the Mother of all battles, Jesus has a talk with The Real Art Bell aka the Radio God; Art Bell will come back to the air. We all will be listening to Art at the radio campfire.
