Why would you want a refund because an employee had a meltdown? :o ???

I hear ya...I need to get my CC, but here in AZ you can open and conceal with no permit! I love the 3-D of the west...mountains, valleys, lots to see...

Florida, like much of the midwest where I am from, makes me feel claustrophobic...can't see far into the distance...anyway, I'm a mountain guy, not big on the beach and the throngs of people...
My only issue with CCLs is that they should not be necessary. You don't need a special license to speak, pray, assemble, etc- why needed to carry and potentially defend yourself and family or others from a criminal? And also one more "list" and database that can be used at some point if the government really turns, or just hacked and make you become a target for a criminal.

I travel to Nevada and Utah a lot for recreation...that will allow me to carry in those states...

I really like Tucson.  Beautiful mountains, desert, sunsets, just big enough to be a city but not so big to be a disaster.  It should be damn nice out there, right now  I hope the transplants from California don't screw it up.

There's always the south side of Chicago.  Not sure about how much acreage you could get.  Maybe you could cut a good deal with one of the gangs.  Plus, it's gets so damn windy and cold.  Never mind.

Hi of 80 deg today! I'm working outside in the yard getting ready for fall planting...sugar snap peas, lettuce, kale...peppers are still going crazy and the tomatoes are coming back now after the heat!

Life is good! Now starts 8 months of 75 deg sunny days! and as always, no humidity!  :D

Honestly they really don't...they are more retired folks who don't have the zeal for political movements anymore....life is good in Tucson!  8)

Transplants from California screw everything up, anywhere they move. Believe me.

You don't need permission to exercise your rights.

If you need permission, you are exercising a privilege, not a right.  There is no human power that can articulate how, to what extent, or with which tools, you can preserve your life, your family's lives or the lives of others.

I moved my family of 5, along with another 5 close friends from Tucson to California so there's space for 10 Cali-ifites there now. I guess.

I like Julian...in the mountains east of San Diego...great climate all year long!

What is your favorite place in Nor Cal, Aldous? If you had to live with your family?

I really love California, used to live in La Jolla and Temecula,  and the people there are great!...I'm just not sold on the sun tax though...

If you have to take in Californication locusts, it should be no more than 1 Cali locust for every 10 Burbanks.   Unless they're seeking political asylum and are willing to renounce their sins and are forced to enter reeducation camps where they have to listen to Rush Limbaugh 24/7.  Hey, I'm being merciful.  At least they don't have to listen to Dave Noorie.

I am a fan of heat and sun and summer so, Nevada City area (Nevada Fucking City as we call it), in the Sierra foothills, Gold Country, is the place for me. I live at 1300 ft elevation whose freeze/thaw dates exactly coincide with those of the Tanque Verde Valley on the east side of Tucson where I used to live. The culture is progressively hip, but they are generally tolerant, if not respectful to a degree, of curmudgeonly old gun toting, bible smoking, weed thumping hippies like me. Other than that, California sucks. Viva Tucson!

I will make note, sir. My next trip up that way I will pass through your lovely recommendation!  Don't forget to let me know next time you are down this way...I will smoke a pork belly and show you my urban garden!

OMG you are next to Tahoe! I did my 6 month externship there for culinary school...Harrah's! I lived on the Cali side and walked across the border to work! LOL I love that area of the country...I promised my daughter I would take here there in the summer to swim in the lake...on the south shore you can walk about 1/4 mile out into the lake and it is only up to your chest! Super Fun!

Do I like PayPal?  No.  Would I like to be able to pay directly using my debit card?  You bet.  Is it super important?  Not at all.  As long as Art is doing MITD I will be subscribed to his archive and if that means I have to use PayPal then that's okay.
Yes. We are already fans. What about the rest of the world. Especially those just discoverIng Art. All those people who love to listen to podcasts when driving..unless they are already big fans why bother with PayPal?

I know I will be burned at the stake for this, but today was the first time turned off listening to an episode. I have been onboard as a TT an hour after it was announced.

Can someone please take away this whole Dark Matter News segment? If you cannot do it properly - don't do it at all. This new newsgirl is gloating about Russian airstrikes missing their targets in Syria, when American Airforce sent their bombs the other day to a hospital in Kunduz, Afghanistan killing 22 patients inside. What's the deal here? Why not mention the American blunder? Ignorance, incompetence or deliberate?

FFS - Art, Keith - whoever is in control of this. Please chop this segment. For the first time I considered cancelling my TT sub. Don't be a propaganda tool. That seat is already taken by C2C.

And can someone more intelligent than me explain why I have to listen to that crap anyway? Syria? I want to hear about ghosts, UFOs, crop circles, NDEs, aliens/fairies/gnomes/elves. Geopolitics IS an interesting subject, but then at least have material from someone who knows his/hers stuff.

DMN Sucks.
There. I said it.

I was born and raised in California.  I've been living in Colorado since '08 and She's doing just fine.  Hell, there's even snow on the mountain tops this morning, good sign for our water shed.

The transplants from California that you're talking about were ALL transplanted from somewhere else, prior to California.  A true California Native knows what honor and respect actually mean.

Wait, I just woke up.  Are you being serious, or just leg pulling? ;D

I just dont want people to fuk with me, if i want to go ride my bike with a Glock in my saddlebag it doesn't mean im out to kill somebody..FFS, just leave me alone, im actually a nice guy Mr. policeman.
Thats why i like states rights and why i will only move to a place where i can carry, you cant get a CC permit if you are a nutcase..i got one and some may think im crazy but im not, i just have a strange sense of humor, i would never hurt anyone that wasn't the aggressor.
And i understand the claustrophobic feeling, try living on a island thats 3.6 X1.7 miles, you wind up knowing EVERYBODY.

The sparsely populated West makes being alone and independent much more easy...wow, I could stay for a long week or weekend but after that, no way...I would need to take my 4X4 out for a ride into the mountains!

Absolutely, TL...my biggest customer is in Long Beach and I travel there at least every two months...the beach cities of LA have their own vibe that is for sure! Seems each place you visit on the planet has their own unique frequency that if you plug into, you can enjoy!

This is quite correct.  California was once a wonderful place, and it wasn't that long ago.
