Tech people never agree on anything. They always think they can do it far better than the other guy. I don't have a clue about any of it, but at least the MITD website is fairly simple and doesn't waste your time with a lot of stuff that is just porn for the developer to play around with. It's a point of contact for the show, and as long as it does the job in that respect I think all the rest is just so much tinsel. You could go crazy with a whole lot of stuff, I suppose, but that would take a lot of money and probably wouldn't yield any extra net benefit. The website is pretty austere, as it stands, but I far prefer that to some of the garbage that slows up your computer. That bloody GIS website always drove me mad with that annoying jingle you got every time you clicked on a new page.

Oh, and if anyone doesn't use Ghostery to stop all of the crap that loads up when you go to a website, I recommend it. It is amazing all the widgets and crap that is hidden away on even the simplest sites.

Ok Folks. I believe I have made my point. Let's all move forward and talk about the future. Great things are possible with so much support coming in these past few days. Honestly I was ready to walk away from all of this. And then you all blasted me unexpectedly with mass support. I thank you and you have no idea what that means to me.
The support is also coming in from radio station owners and operators around the nation and in Canada!
I have been asked to put together a full 3 - 4 hour program which would go directly against MITD - the same time slot. This would be an independent production - solely owned and syndicated by me. I havent decided if I want to make this commitment. Unlike Art - I dont want to jump into something and retire a few weeks late. I have a keen interest in what the listener wants and a balanced interest in what the affiliates need. I don't have the ego and will make this decision based on facts. Thus another reason I will be taking some time off to make sure I would be doing this for the right reasons. I will not operate my business driven by emotions. I will update you all here as soon as I have made my decision. In the mean time - lets all cool it and move forward?

And even works with noscript.... So called modern sites these days often require like thousands of EXTERNAL scripts just to load which can open for all kinds of external malware as well as tracking when you have to allow all these random third party scripts to run without knowing what they do.

  Leo Ashcraft's behaviour and posts regarding this situation are incorrigible.   His words reveal far more about himself than they do about anyone else.  I sure hope he's not raising any children.  He's on steroids.  Whenever feel yourself being drawn in by the forces trying to destabilize you Art,  just visualize Leo in a spacecraft hovering before you- both are made of ashes - blow on it - sending the particles into the vast recesses of the universe and wish him well in all his future endeavers.  Truly wishing him (and whoever is encouraging him) happiness and fulfilment through virtuous means is the important part.
