Soon, we'll be celebrating Noory Day, the one day of the year when we take a break from our usual meal of rat and feast upon roast Noory, with pizza roll dressing.  I'm also looking forward to the traditional Chicago all beef hot dog casserole and candied salami as well.  All enjoyed with the traditional C2C holiday CD playing throughout the day.  What says "GNS!" better than Jorch and UFO Phil belting the holiday's finest tunes, all with the reassurance knowing Jorch will be there.  Forever.

I usually only hear sNoory's dulcet tones and impeccable pronunciation once a month when I listen to LMH's show. I just listened to last month's with the Krampus debacle. What a frackin' idiot he is, losing his sh@t over evil child abusing Krampus. In all that eight hours of show prep, he knew nothing. Zero. About the Krampus legend. And of course had no clue on how to conduct the interview to find out about the fable.

Then proceeded to get all Holy and Parental about his "family" show and dropped the guy.  I love the lady who took him to task about all his dead kid stories and his response that's ok  because they're real. Yeah, sNorge, real child abuse is so much better than a fairy tale.  Idiot.

I have Linda's show from last week downloaded now so I'm sure I will be back again to complain. I swear His Idiocy's monthly visit is much worse than Aunt Flo's. If only I could just take a Midol to get rid of him

You need to proceed to the nearest clinic and request a complete ear canal disinfectant procedure. It is better to do it now, if you wait too long, you may need ear replacement surgery.

It's soooo apparent that it's C2C - the concept, the history, the time slot, the legend - that is the reason people continue to tune in. It's not Jorch. People listen DESPITE him.

I've heard worse, but rarely.  One was a lady on a college station who announced the show as "That's........Interesting" with about that long a pause, sounded like she was falling asleep the entire several minutes I could stand to tune in, ~30 yrs. ago.  Another was a guy paying for time on WVNJ ~20 yrs. ago; I phoned in on air to do him a favor by telling him how awful he was & that he should practice on a college or community station that wouldn't cost him anything.  I briefly caught a pair of college kids doing a basketball game breathlessly.  But none of these were people being paid to do a 'cast.

There are soooo many ways to practice being good with your voice for an audience, it's hard to believe someone could get far and be bad for long unless they just didn't give a shit.  And I'm convinced that's the case w Noory.  He didn't start out this bad, he got in a lot of practice doing a crap broadcast.  Indeed, I don't remember his being so bad 15 yrs. ago.

I think a lot of them, except Tommy who needs to be Norry's handler, are asleep or allowed to work from "home" and get a decent paycheck so figure why not? As others mention the time-slot is not that active (night-owls, shut-ins, drunks, truckers, shift workers, meth heads, etc) and C2C still has a reputation, thanks to Art.  I'm guessing stations need to take C2C as a part of an iHate syndicated radio package (with popular programs) and program directors and owners just shrug and say "fine" because they aren't up to actually listen to it....

Yeah man...the poor staffers workeen for that fraud of a hack. And there must be really REALLY tight restrictions and contracts they must sign. One of which is no doubt confidentiality. Others I'm sure include, piss-testeen, twenty-four hour surveillance of everytheen they do especially their activities on the wireless Internets.
