We have been entirely too hard on George Noory. He is an excellent broadcaster. His insight into complex issues, always helps me understand those issues.

$400.00 I too can sell my integrity.

How's about crowd funding, you get to keep your integrity, and sell it of at a later date for a better price

Was watching the Three Stooges the other morning and some young relatives came in (due to my laughing) and I said these guys are hilarious. They showed me some of the insta/vine/utube/etc they are watching all the time on their smartphones...apparently these days all kids, young enough not to be sexting yet hopefully (I'm sure whatever is being taught in school instead of math or history will soon change that,) is watch similar type stuff, with less production value or any political/social-class satire and apparently real, called "fail" videos. I noted they should be called "failURE" videos. Got back blank expressions.

I think it is not even youtube, which I know, but various apps where they share videos, gifs (yes, I pronounced it wrong- to laughter,) etc with each other showing kids racking themselves, face-planting, and various other "fails." The skateboard seems to be the most common way to ensure fame for hurting oneself, but not the only one.

it was funny when later in the show a different guest told Noory that the congressman was actually FOR the bill, not AGAINST like a previous guest had told him.
So all the email/fax bombs might have been mis-directed, but Noory didn't try to fix it, just walked away from it...

I missed that! Thanks, I guess I wasn't listening too closely- only way to stay halfways sane. Wow, so maybe one of the strong proponents of the bill(s) will now against it after the Norry campaign email/fax/call/letter bombs were misdirected. Classic. What a dolt.

No need to bother if you've heard Wallach before: he says the same things, pretty much verbatim, every time he's on. I wonder if he'll repeat his claim to be able to cure homosexuality.

Ya he is the worst guest/salesman the have on the show. It is so sad what has happened to c2c. It is nothing but a 4 hour infomercial

Others, Johnny Carson comes to mind quickly, can be great flubbing an opening segment or joke and turning into a great opening or monologue. Good radio-men can read a bland news blurb and make it sound good or interesting. Norry doesn't seem to have the chops, or desire, to try either. Every so often he will try, and fail, I'll give him that (and I will be criticized for it) but for years he hasn't. Recently, since Art's announcement it has, at times, seems like he is giving it the old college try again, but still can't hack it- even with guests who are, usually, almost totally Norry-fans and dolts themselves. Timing, always off. Inside jokes, always fail. Personal stories, creepy and/or repetitive. Subjects of interest, in bad taste or odd. Questions, already "asked and answered" (in Perry Mason speak) or non-sequiturs, etc.   In, a way, it is sad. But, we have MITD to which to look forward!!!

Since he is on so often he should bring on one of his patients who used to be homosexual but is now straight.  Now that I would like to hear. I think there is something to all the hormones being injected into our food supply.  There has to be an effect on people.  Why it affects some people and not others is another question.
