Yeah, George, I went out of my way to defend you here. I still would be, if it weren't for that interview. Not everyone is against you, Art's a showman, and conflict, conflict, conflict is one way to promote. At the same time, he could be completely right. We don't know out here in the peanut gallery.

An apology to Art would work to reestablishing good will. You were doing good in here, you had the high ground on some people that were going too far, up until that god forsaken interview.

And, actually, tonight wasn't bad on the air, given the upheaval. The guest was good. We love us some cryptids.

Here's a present detailing a little of the Wildman that roamed Pike, Lincoln and St. Charles County. It actually goes back much further than the RFT reported, back to the 1940's.

Maybe it is time to take a vacation, refresh, reconsider things, apologize to Art, I don't know what else.  Tweak your show.  Audition some new hosts to cover. Rethink the vibe.  It all seems pretty tired and desperate.
I'm really disappointed but I am only one listener.

You need to apologize to Art, very profusely, during the show sometime this week. You need to admit that you acted with malice (temporary insanity?). AND you need to state that you will never have Oates on the show ever again.

Please tell us, and more importantly Art, WHY after over ten years you decide to have Oates on after what he did to Art one week before what should be his happy return to radio?  It doesn't matter if they patched things up or not, or settled out of court, whatever.  Oates did those things and it was irreversible and irreparable damage was done.  Why would you give this guy the time of day, let alone a two-hour infomercial but to hurt Art Bell?

That HAS to be it!  Because Art made it very clear a few months ago that he didn't want his name associated with the show.  But, Art said, if George was going to mention his name on the show, then he should at least give a plug for "Dark Matters" when he does it.  Since neither of those requests Art made have been honored, and since we KNOW George would never ever do anything to hurt Art, then he must be talking about a different Art Bell when he gives his shout outs.

I have to admit I wanted to hear what Dave would do after the Oates interview and three days' fermentation.  As expected, he bragged about Navy, promoted the Insider, played Art's C2C music, told some kids- get -hurt stories and did a distracted "classhik" interview.  I don't think he expected the push-back from us and Art himself.  I guess this is the new face of radio.
