As for the twitter feed on Oates. That was actually sent to my weekend webmaster Friday night....it was posted a day and a half later.

Good God man.  People here have commented in the past that you may have Aspergers (having it myself, I disagreed.)  With this I officially have to say that you are missing picking up on some very basic things and missing some very open opportunities. 

That would have been a great opportunity for an apology rather than explaining it away by saying that he knows you would never hurt him (hint: he believes that you purposely attempted it.)  "Gee Art, I never realized that the pain / hurt / memories were still there after all these years.  I am sorry if it drudged up old memories and pain just prior to what should be a great day for you (getting back in the drivers seat and offering the audience a ride.)  It really was just me trying to make the show my own and while the timing looks bad it was not meant to be aimed at you.  While I know you do not have influence over Coast programming anymore, I do and I will not allow this to happen again.

Hello all, I have NO email from George, at least nothing today and nothing that relates to Oates at all.
There are several things I do not understand. I said I no longer hold a grudge with respect to Oates and
that is true, that kind of thing will make you sick but I will NEVER forget or forgive. Many of you remember,
or if not, know what was said now as does George, he Twitted that he plans to have him on again, really?
I thought that there was possibly a chance that George did not know the history, I no longer believe that.
At this point it no longer matters, it's done. I think coincidence occurs all the time, George I think has a
contrary view, to be sure this was a monster one. I did ban Oates for life. If George does not respect that
after reading what Oates said about me then there is nothing left for me to say about George.

Dave, you so underestimate the intelligence of everyone who is not a Coast subscriber.  The only "misunderstanding" as you put it, is this little stunt of yours blew up in your face.  You made an extremely poor judgment call having Oates on and its backfiring.  Only you can fix it with Art now.
