George Noory Sucks! - The Definitive Compendium

Can Noory pronounce anything correctly?

No
No

Did Noory just dump his main guest after only a half hour again?
Pathetic...

michio

The bastard just dropped Jim Sparks from the program and replaced him with Howard Bloom.  How did they happen to get hold of Howard that quickly during a short break? Does Nooron have a hotline to Bloom in case of emergencies?  The phone connection from Australia wasn't up to Nooron's "standards."  They should drop Noory from the program because he isn't up to our standards.

Wrong.  It is not a quaint descriptive colloquialism specific to the Midwest.   Withering looks, yes,  withering sarcasm, yes, withering in pain, no.  Writhing in pain, yes.

George's synapses shorted out and his mouth produced a "misspelled" word as if it was a "misspoken" word.

Noory has standards?
If so how come playing UFO Phil's song is within his standards but Jim Sparks phone is not? I could hear Jim just fine, but Noory's voice sounded worse especially with his dumb questions including him asking a question Jim already answered five minutes earlier.  :o

This guest is dumb. He doesn't realize that pain is necessary for survival.

In that case, his regular listeners will live to be 120.

(Not) George Noory: "My shows are like Russian yogurt."

Yes, Roseanne as well. While George and Tommy  masterbating in the background to George's Elvis song. Sorry for that image folks.
Thanks a heap. Ill just go stash my sandwich and beverage into the fridge until the nausea passes.

...been listening since the Art Bell days.   I cannot believe this guy dropped Sparks.  Actually I can believe it.  I think he dropped him because Sparks was dominating the interview in Noory's eyes.   Like the rest of you I have listened to this idiot be rude to callers,  rude to guest and ruin interviews by constant interruptions.   Why do they keep him?   I'm just another listener preaching to the choir.   I think he does alot ofwhat he does purposely thinking he's getting even for all the negative forum talk.  He knows no matter what he does he won't be fired.   I hope at some point I can pick up all 3 hours of Clyde Lewis.   The phone line with Sparks was fine.  I had no problem hearing him.

You dont suppose Tommy and Lisa figured out early on that noory was a complete pinhead, and decided it would be a hoot to see how long, and how far, they could push him? It just may be that these two are the greatest producers in radio. If that is the case, my shadow hat is off to them. Nah....couldnt be. Premrat would get a tax credit for hiring a disabled person...nah...
Forget I mentioned it.

and we'll hear about ''pizza rolls'' from now through eternity.

I can't tell you how many times I've turned my radio off or changed stations because of the crap just like what happened tonight.   I'm in my mid 50's and have listened to nighttime radio since I was a young boy on the farm.   Of course most of it back then was music - WLS,  WABC,  WCFL,  WSB and so on.   Anyway,  has george ever responded to his critics on a forum?

Wasn't having a problem hearing Sparks either. But remember how Art would cut off callers if they were using cell phones when we could hear them all right on the radio? Maybe sound quality is different in in the host's head phones. I was enjoying listening to Sparks. Believe it? No, but it was interesting and I wanted to see where he'd go next with his story.

Howard Bloom? Interesting the first time he was on Coast, but this is repetitious. Also, too much like a lecture.

Just tuned in on iheart radio and read the post that Sparks was dropped after 30 mins? WTF?

He supposedly warned some people, who claimed that his Syfy program was an infomercial, that he would take legal action against them if they didn't cease and desist. It might have been an impostor rather than the real Noory. In any event, the person had little to no understanding of libel laws. There also were a few rumors that proxies replied to his critics when he didn't respond to them.

5 minutes and already bored as SHIT! Boooooo!

I heard that George mentioned his "haters" on the air a few times. Most likely he was talking about this site.

25 mins. in and still bored with Bloom's interview.  Where's a scalding hot pizza roll when you need one?

No, we're not haters. We're lovers of quality, interesting, entertaining while being informative radio. Simple George simply does not deliver the required goods. Noory is always talking about searching for the truth. These pages are where he can find his truth, if he dares to read them.

In the George Noory dictionary, a "hater" is defined as anybody who doesn't lavish unwarranted praise on him. Frankly, no one older than sixteen should use that childish word.

It certainly didn't get any more interesting. If C2C was on air at any time other than the middle of the night, their audience would be near the bottom of the heap. Only PBS is more bland and dull than Coast has been recently.

Tommy's tone could definitely be interpreted as patronizing towards GN.

what what what are you doing jorch? he'll be lucky if tommy brings his car around for him every night cause i'm pretty sure a "hater" is going to strap a pizza roll bomb to that sucker.

Am I the only one who enjoys Bloom?  A voice of reason is always welcome, in my book.  It's kind of nice to hear snoory's juvenile belief in god (and the callers) being repeatedly smacked down.

stevesh

No, I also enjoy Bloom. Far better, anyway, than another round of make-believe aliens and the whole abduction nonsense.

Only problem with Bloom being the guest is Noory being the host. It's like listening to someone trying to teach a dog to read. Simple George's only comments were repeatedly asking Bloom if a creator existed, and pathetic attempts to get Bloom to say that his and Noory's philosophies were 'very close'.

George Noory sucks.

Unfortunately there are many who do still use "hater", completely without irony, as adults. They are hopeless douches who should be mercilessly mocked until they melt into long-pig goo.

Very, very true. I always find myself saying to others " You know Coast To Coast(crickets-bemused looks)..uh, you know Art Bell's old show?" and that clears things up. Noory's Q rating is five percent of nothing and has little recognition, if any at all. Those who know of him, hate him!

That should tell PremRat something.  Even after being off the air for years, Art still has more recognition than Snoory.  As I've mentioned before, it's interesting that "Somewhere in Time" still airs and includes Art's shows from THE LAST CENTURY.  Art's worst show from THE LAST CENTURY is light years ahead of any crap Noory show.  PremRat, ask yourself, if Noory had any worth at all, why are you still airing Art's shows from THE LAST CENTURY?  Art was so good, you can listen to him talking about events from over 10 years ago, such as the Y2K non-event or whacko Dames predictions which obviously never happened, and he still makes it interesting.

The same gum-smackers who believe "awesome" is the only adjective.  ::)

Kit Katz,  you'd think if the sound was worse in the headphones moreso than on air that he and the staff would be aware of it by now.   Not being disrespectful to your post.

I guess what bothers me as much as anything is the rude behavior.  He tries hiding or disguising what he does at times and it's so obvious.   On the subject of being rude to callers... I used to listen to Larry King way back in the day.  I remember Larry getting after older callers who spoke slowly and had a more difficult time getting their point across.    Larry would tell them to ''hurry up'' or ''we've got callers waiting'' and so on.  He was mean... period.    I had to laugh to myself when years later he got the CNN show where he absolutely kissed up to the Hollywood types like George Looney,  Brad pitt and other Hollywood royalty.

No, I also enjoyed the bits I heard. I'll go back to hear the rest at some point. I heard Joorch give his basic 'something has to be behind all this' ID Sunday School theology crap, which Bloom brushed aside, and callers desperately insisting they could 'prove' God exists being effortlessly knocked back. Finally Joorch had to pop him the 'Do you believe in life after death?' and heard himself coming back in reply. 'No. Not at all.' The multiverse popped up. 'It's a fascinating idea, but there is not one shred of evidence to support it.'

Breath of fresh air after the biblical prophecies mumbo-jumbo the night before. Sometimes C2C feels like it's turned into the God Channel. Notice that sNooron attempted to challenge Bloom tonight, but there was no close questioning of 'Reverend' Baxter the night before. Watch for George ripping on Bloom in the next couple of shows when he gets back in his comfort zone. He always does that when a guest has poo-pooed his favoured beliefs. Never to their face (or ears): he waits til they're gone and then starts bitching about them like the coward and intellectual pygmy he is.

Don't know why Sparks disappeared so fast, or how Bloom was so immediately available. That does seem odd

I like your enthusiasm, but the opinions on Clyde thus far are very mixed.

Found my old username, so I am posting with it now.
Well, okay I suppose reviews of Clydes show might be mixed, but I feel he captures more of the essence of what Art had going. I hung on this board for a long time after starting to enjoy George simply because he's great comedy. I mean with all the ugly truth that is being revealed in 2012, I wouldn't be surprised in GN didn't just come out and admit he'd been having a laugh all these years. As I mentioned yesterday, I had only been tuned in for about ten minutes before he came out with those two jewels I posted above. Funny stuff! Could easily make a coffee table book out of them, I can only imagine the graphic for the six inch leg comment. Deary me.
However, given the choice I'd rather have a conversation about a meaningful show, like back in the Art Bell days.
