And one world advocates like you want to make everyone assume the value of the lowest common denominator.  Here's something for you to consider:

A.  I do believe in American exceptionalism.

B.  I don't want Americans to be absorbed into some amorphous conglomoration of inferior states.

C.  Anybody that can make the cut to get into this country legally is welcome as long as their motives are pure and they are willing to assimilate.

D.  We want nothing you have to offer.  If your forebearers had any backbone or intelligence you would be a 10th generation American.

E.  It is a well known fact that all hyper-liberal men squat to pee.

You and I go to the same church.  Preach it, brother!

re: Water Music and Handel being German.

The UK royal house is Germanic. They changed the name to Windsor during WWI because them all being cousins and German was uncomfortable. Not that I'm against Germans but Das Haus Sachsen-Coburg und Gotha seemed a bit, off, to the public at that awful time. And could you imagine having to tie a DOUBLE Das Haus Sachsen-Coburg und Gotha-KNOT every morning?

Take over for me Gunny.  I've done enough War mongering for one day and I gotta get some sleep.

I may be overthinking this but doesn't it seem ironic that many of the people protesting immigration control at our airports are the same type who use hand sanitizer on their grocery carts for fear that they might catch something before heading off to march for the right to abort a fetus' right to immigrate into this world? Or am I just high?

Both? Even Hunter couldn't have predicted, reported this, hopefully, "fake news;" though he was, supposedly, investigating this kind of thing before his suicide....

BUCKS COUNTY (CBS) â€" Authorities in Bucks County make an arrest in a fetish-themed child predator sex ring they say was going on for the better part of a decade.

Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro said for the last seven years at least four men sexually abused a young boy at sex parties where the men would dress up like different animals.

“This child victim was repeatedly abused by a group of criminals who cared only about their gratification, they cared nothing about this young boy,” he said. “This is a horrendous case.”

ps: sorry for cross-posting and potentially violating MV terms. Praise MV. But such a crazy, sad story.

I lived in that particular Bucks County township for a spell and let me tell you, it is home to a lot of people who are a few amendments short of a whole constitution. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the funnel cakes.

I'm an American Legion man myself.

Truth be told, I prefer the Legion, myself.  At every VFdub, there is always some old codger, in his 80's with a triple Scotch and beer in front of him that wants to see who has the bigger dick.  'Grenada?  Da fuck?  Desert Storm?  hahahahahha.  OEF?  You call those a war?  I was on Normandy beach Motherfucker!"  Or  "You fucking pussy, I waded ashore at Tarawa!"

And all I wanted was a fucking drink.

I'm trying of sign off for the night but you're making it hard for me.  You are a master at capturing the ironies here on BelGab.  You've got a real future.  I would caution you, however, that prolonged participation in BelGab will rot your brain.  Look at me, I used to be wicked smart--now Im given to staying up late at night and chuckling while typing silly shit on my iPad.  I'm sure I've lost IQ points and I'm a relative newbie.  My wife has threatened to call the folks down at the home and lately she says that without smiling.  Just Sayin.

Yeah but that happens at the Legion too.  Both groups need an infusion of younger vets and there are plenty around but they don't seem to be interested.  Too bad.  Maybe after some years pass and their experiences look a little more distant in the rear view mirror they will seek the comradery that they once had.  It could be healing.  I feel for these kids.

You must have missed my earlier post.

Oh, I didn't explain myself very well.  My bad.

Yes it is possible to have honest disagreements regarding interpretation.  That isn't what's been happening for the past 60 years.  These Left wing hack ''judges'' don't do what they swore to do, which is to uphold the law.  Their rulings are based on their ''Liberal'' and ''Progressive'' ideology.  It's not an honest disagreement between people disagreeing over interpretation - these people aren't judges at all, they are advocates.  Advocates who get to make the decision.

In other words, they are phony judges, despite holding the office.

Do you really think this judge who made the ruling overturning Trump's Executive Order carefully went through the evidence presented, applied the various laws and precedents, and came up with that ruling?  Or do you think the ACLU went ''judge shopping'', and had a pretty good idea ahead of time how it would go?

So now you'll at least know what I mean when I refer them as phony judges, whether you agree with the terminology or not.

I don't agree with the terminology, but at least I now know that the sole criterion for determining if a judge is phony is because it's your opinion he or she is based entirely on your own subjective reasoning. Fair enough.

Better idea. Only have US airlines fly within US border. And only fly within US border, not internationally. No overseas airline flies to US. Then everyone is safe.

Rapes
Threats
Petty Crime
Attacks on Police
Attacks on Doctors and Nurses
Marches and Demands
Random Attacks on Non-Muslims
Stressing Social Services

This hasn't come to the US in any significant number yet, but we see what's going on in other places that have invited these people in.  They don't have to be terrorists or terrorist sympathizers to be undesirable.  These are people who've spent their entire illiterate lives hearing that anyone not from their specific sect is an infidel and should be killed.

We can't tell which refugee fits in the above category, and which don't.  We don't know which ones will become radicalized once they come here, or which of their kids will.

How is any of that attractive?

The ''Progressives'' want them because they have a common enemy:  the rest of us.

A lot of institutions, groups, etc suffering from this. Now, some, let's not get a certain poster started  ;) , but I think it might be harming communities. Everything online, and fake, social isolation. etc Ignoring the obvious "conspiracy" or "good old boy" or whatever it is interesting how people in the past had much more social organizations belonging: churches, fraternal orders, bowling leagues, women's groups, garden clubs, public lectures, co-ops, country club memberships, etc. (Stuff at every level of income, not only for the rich or middle class.) Sure, before instant mass-media but in many of these things you see increasingly older folks as the young people find not fun, not worthwhile business-wise, too busy at work, or just online stuff.

Mr. Trump has much to answer for, this presidency thing is interfering with his ability to manage his multitudinous extra-governmental business affairs.  To wit:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hQWlyZXyNH4

Giving the keys for the Universal Vivendi Lincoln Town Car to a Frenchy (known Commie surrender monkeys)?

Watching the proceedings of this farce, I was convinced that he would follow the Monroe Doctrine and out of the three finalists he would at least crown Ms. Colombia*, Colombian cocaine money must be invested somewhere...

I digress.  What sickens me most is that Ms. Venezuela and more significantly Ms. Panama (penultimate or hexapenultimate finalist) were ignored.  I wonder who actually was crowned behind the curtains at the real ceremony at the Mar-A-Lago resorts last week...

That Ms. Turkey was given a virtual burka in the final moments was also disheartening (in switching channels between the Pro-Bowl and the Miss Universe pageant I missed the Turkish ambassador's appearance, and any hirsute and astute man knows that the Turkish ladies are the most nubile wymyns in this or any paraleel universe, mm)

For shame, Mr. President, for shame!  Have you no scents of c'mon decency?

Mr. Trump as a former New Yawk Demogogue-type that switches political parties at a whim of political favoritism has much to answer to the ghost of Mr. Churchill for.  Mr. Trump give us that big bust back or senda-it!  I need another drink, I am trembling with barely suppressed rage...

*(I am sorry Ms. Haiti, but seriously, you were there to deflect the left-leaning criticisms about impoverished shit-hole banana republics, I note your neighbor on the Isle of Hispanola's DR rep was much more fetching than yourself, not that I'd kick any of y'all Universally hawtties out of the bed...)

You should be embarrassed. Unless your devotion to your glorious leader permits you to look a little deeper: Consider who's funding ISIS. Where do you think they get their money? Certainly not from the war-torn countries on the banned list. It seems to me if you want to stop terrorists, cutting off their funds would be a wise place to start.

Günter Meyer is Director of the Center for Research into the Arabic World at the University of Mainz. Meyer says he has no doubt about where ISIS gets its funding. "The most important source of ISIS financing to date has been support coming out of the Gulf states, primarily Saudi Arabia but also Qatar, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates," Meyer told Deutsche Welle.

Also untouched by Friday’s executive order is the United Arab Emirates, a powerful Muslim ally with whom the United States nevertheless has complicated relations. Trump has licensed his name to a Dubai golf resort, as well as a luxury home development and spa.

Here are a couple of screen shots from the glossy 25 page brochure inviting you to Trump's "exclusive" Dubai, United Arab Emirates golf resort and luxury homes.

Yep. Was wondering/bitching why those countries "not on list." We should seize, or at least freeze, their assets here and in our banks (private and 'reserve.") Until sorted out. Frankly, as mentioned, I would deal with the Persians than these fake "royals" with no real history or culture- IF we must deal with Muzzies.
