Are you familiar with... the Cleveland Steamer?

No, I've led a very sheltered life.  I was a sailor.

It looks like the buyers remorse is starting to sink in. It's not going to be much fun for DT if he lets his supporters down and makes them angry.

Hmmm. Second verse, Going Underground, The Jam.

Some people might get some pleasure out of hate
Me, I've enough already on my plate
People might need some tension to relax
[Me?] I'm too busy dodging between the flak
What you see is what you get
You've made your bed, you better lie in it
You choose your leaders and place your trust
As their lies wash you down and their promises rust
You'll see kidney machines replaced by rockets and guns
And the public wants what the public gets
But I don't get what this society wants

I wish he would stop tweeting but I'm giving him 3 or 4 months as president before I make a judgment.

It looks like he's going to be a bit distracted by his own problems (multiple conflicts of interests, ongoing lawsuits, liens). And there's that year-long tax audit which should be winding up by now, after which he's promised to show us his tax returns. I hope he can find some spare time to Make America Great Again.

Trump’s Washington hotel could trigger early test of conflicts
Lawyers say president will be in violation of lease â€" even the Constitution â€" on first day of office

Trump Hotel Contractors Say They Haven’t Been Paid

The Trump Organization leases the hotel building from the federal government, which owns the Old Post Office that the hotel is located within. The lease prohibits liens against the property. If one is recorded on it, the lease requires the Trump Organization to pay off the lien or defend against it in court.

You know what really makes me not worry about Putin? The fact that Ed Dames said he was dangerous.

You do know that Ed Dames also remote viewed  MH370 Parked in a hangar in Uzbekistan?  Twenty plus pieces of debris have been found that were identified as probably or definitely having come from the plane but those Uzbek's are treacherous and devilishly clever bastards and my money is on Ed.

Putin responds to claims that Trump used Russian prostitutes. Putin says that although Russian prostitutes are best in the world, Trump is so rich and famous that he doesn't have to pay for pussy. That prostitution is something "ugly" that people who have no other way of surviving are forced to do and that the fake news organisations that put out fake news like the Russian Dossier are worse than prostitutes.

QuoteDid Trump really come and meet with Russian prostitutes? Firstly he is an adult, and secondly he is a person who for many years has organized a beauty pageant, socialized with the most beautiful women in the world. It is hard to believe that he ran to a hotel to meet with our girls of a low social class, although they are the best in the world. But finally, you know, what I want to say, prostitution is a serious, ugly, social phenomenon, young women do this connected to the fact that they cannot survive any other way and that is a problem of society but people who order false information and spread this information against the elected President, who fabricate it and use it in a political fight, they are worse than prostitutes.

It'll be fine; he can just fire off infantile tweets out at 3am, attacking someone for pointing out he wears hairgrips, or Shawshank Redemption is over rated,  and all that legal nonesense will be forgotten.

Jackstar would beg to differ. MH370 is on Diego Garcia, according to him. So there, Man from Atlantis.

Putin also said that although Russians didn't hack the Dems, the info released wasn't made up. Which begs the question; how does he know if he doesn't know who hacked?

Since we seem to be into film criticism here:

Saw "Manchester by the Sea" today.   A must see tour de force performance by all actors in central
roles.  Sure to become a modern-day and probably all time classic.  If it comes to a choice between seeing the movie and feeding your kids, see the movie.

I can hear this set to the tune of "We Will Rock You" only it needs a catchy refrain.  How about:  I'm sick of your shit so fuck you, fuck you.  Of course it needs some work.

3 months before you join the rest of the grannies in the sewing circle? God damn, that's generous of you, sir!

I not sure how to take this.

How do sailors normally take it? Consensually?

In the Brit Navy they take it soberly since they did away with he grog ration.

Both ways.  lol I was just having a bit of fun with you.  My Dad was a navy man and he told me a few stories about his time at sea though he was mostly based on Oahu as a chauffeur for bigwigs.

Okay, are you going to tell me what a St. Petersburg Slayride is or not.  A Google search turned up nothing and my degenerate cousin Ralph is threatening to tell everyone that I post on BelGab if I don't get him an answer.  Surely you of all people know what it is (and no I'm not calling you Shirley.)

Please feel free to correct any misspellings.

This is how the seafaring men from Nantucket did it, although there's no mention of a bucket.  It was also the name of an album by Mountain, which is where I first heard the term.

Wow RGG, we posted our last posts in the same second.  How often does that happen?

OK.  I'm off to see Scorcese's Silence.  Better be good.

Not all millionaires are as ugly as George Soros, escorts would pay the Bogdanoff's to give them a golden shower
