Art Of Zoo is closing down. The models kept getting doxed and stalked. We can't have anything nice on the internet. :(

Just lovely.  ::)

I was just reading a similar article on the Bing homepage. Where I worked in the Bronx before by "the hub" 149th and 3rd, I used to have to literally step over people on K2 when I went into my building for work each day. Thank God our office is now in a medical building in a residential neighborhood in the Bronx.

I wonder if this guy is related to someone we all know- this and MV's recent experience with a certain laptop and a certain person can serve as cautionary tales for us all.

Hi Pye, good to see you back!

Thank you, Ibby- I had to take a break, but I did miss too many of you to stay away for too long. :)

Wow - that sounds pretty miserable Ibby.   Just another little reminder that I should be thankful that I live and work
in the Raleigh area  [even if we are backward enough in our thinking to keep dudes out of the little girl's room]

I've thought about moving to North Carolina. It seems like a sane place to live. Before our office moved, there was literally an ambulance in front of our building once a week. Now that we are in a nice part of town, I can wear jewelry again and can leave late and not do a fast walk to my car.

Orange County, California is the place for you Ibby.

Good idea here, too. Some of the eastern Monks live in rural New Jersey (Phillipsburg area) and its a nice place. Very calm and quiet.

Yep - NC is pretty nice, all things considered.  I've been here a long time now  and at this point I've lived longer in Raleigh
than in Detroit.   I miss the food and the Red Wings but that's about it.

The "I can wear jewelry again" statement is pretty distressing.   Mrs. Walks would have a fit!   Glad you are in a better situation.

I've thought about Saugerties in upstate NY, close to Woodstock. There is also a town called Lilyvale that sounds cool because of the high percentage of psychics/mediums/spiritualists in the area.

Interesting. I don't know anything about Orange County. What are some perks of living there?

I seem to remember watching a show about a town that was all psychics and tarot card readers. Maybe it was that town

Boy, am I out of the loop! Has he formed a cult? Do we get to wear snazzy robes and have a secret handshake?

I'm sure it is on his busy schedule.  It will be the mother of all cults, that you can be sure.  His anxious subjects await!

No, nothing so interesting.

Great weather, access to pretty much every kind of resource/restaurant/thing to do, very quiet for being a huge, populous place. I'm not a huge crowd person, but since you're from NY City I imagine you can't live without crowds of some kind.

Is the Orange County Mining Company restaurant still open?  I have been there several times but it has been a long, long time.

Not to worry.  The Great Bobo has the answer for his willing subjects.  His loving hand will be felt throughout his flock!
