You don't sound like you get much human contact.

My non-compete agreement is, at present, extremely strict. Also, I've been identified as a "super-spreader"--whenever I leave the house, I'm followed on four sides by vehicles bracing my movements. They're not subtle. It's constant.

What can I say? Flattered. I guess they have to release a nanotech package in order to neutralize the immunity I send flying out around me, everywhere I go. Or something, who knows, not me, don't care, they can kiss my pucker. And it can't be the usual gang of idiots that have been following me for years, this new crew of mooks make rookie maneuvers all the time and appear to have no concern at all about being made. Also, they genuinely seem frightened, and bolt at my merest approach--when usually, I at least get to get out a smile and a wave first (literally this is all I ever got for years, so I'm sensitive to perceiving any shift). I've a secret weapon, however--I've started cropdusting the hand sanitizer stations that have sprung up around all the business doors. I doubt there is any package out there, nanotech or otherwise, that can stand a chance against mine own.

I am not going to lie. Being me is fun. Whadda you got going on? A secret Discord channel for sharing AMVs? Okay, whatever, lap it up.

They are cops.  That's how they all act.  Candidates don't get hired if they have IQs above 119.  That's fairly bright, but above average for cops.  These imbeciles attended acting class at community college and never even made it to Hollywood, let alone ever got so much as an audition.  Police are bullies and bullies are cowards.

They won't stop harassing until sued.  However, the up side is that the financial collapse will necessitate budget cuts, and these pricks don't produce shit.

I see this is a trick question (and likely does not involve Germany.)  ;) "And it came to pass in those days that a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be registered. This census first took place while Quirinius was governing Syria. So all went to be registered, everyone to his own city. Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth into Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem..."

They try to get me to do a census every couple of years. Usually they give up. Once I had to fill one in. Rather than fill in the form how they wanted, I wrote my answers in script... I'm sure I'm on a "watch list" somewhere for my handling of the census.
Ding-Ding-Ding. Would makes sense that the "second coming" would also be associated with a census in addition to the plagues, the wars- and rumors of wars, the locusts, earthquakes, floods, celestial events, and so on, Though I would also have accepted the census to make up the Domesday Book and other such surveys where Kings could figure out how much he should get from his vassals and peasants.

I can't think of any positives from censuses. They put out the commercials and talking points about "more money for schools," "more Federal grants," "more representation in Congress," and such but to me most all of those things just mean higher taxes, more regulations, more redistribution on income by central planners, and more corruption. I guess there is some value in family history research and by demographic researchers when the information is finally released to the public.

Beyond a head count, the Census is data mining and not lawful.  Give only your name, and general location, nothing more.

The Rapture is immanent, but there needs to be much, more minor tribulation, first.

Special Report: The 'Great Escape' Misunderstanding

In Defense of the Faith
Tuesday, February 15, 2005 Special Report: The 'Great Escape' Misunderstanding http://omegaletter.com/articles.asp?ArticleID=4722 In Defense of the Faith Tuesday, February 15, 2005 Jack Kinsella - Omega Letter Editor

One of the principle misunderstandings concerning the Rapture revolves around its purpose. Critics of a pre-Tribulation Rapture deride it as some pie-in-the-sky 'Great Escape' for Christians living in the last days.

There is no such promise of 'escape' from tribulation, they argue, and (correctly) point out the Bible's promise that 'in this world ye shall have tribulation' so the pretribulational hope of a 'Great Escape' is not only delusional, it is unscriptural.

The fact is, if the pretribulational hope WAS for a 'Great Escape' from tribulation, they would be correct. There is NO promise that the Church will escape tribulation, but there is an iron-clad promise that the Church will not go through the seven years of tribulation described by Jeremiah as the 'Time of Jacob's Trouble' or outlined by Daniel as Israel's '70th Week.'

There are several reasons for a pretribulational Rapture, not the least of which is the purpose of the Tribulation in God's unfolding Plan for the ages.

The purpose of the seven year Tribulation Period is two-fold. The first reason is to fulfill Daniel's prophecy of the 70 Weeks. The angel told Daniel that:
"Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy." (Daniel 9:24)

Note there are six elements to the fulfillment of this prophecy. First, to finish Israelís sin Ė the rejection of the Messiah at the First Advent.

Then there is a skip forward in time to His Second Advent, at which time, an end will be made of sin, reconciliation will be made for Israelís iniquity, everlasting righteousness will be introduced to Israel, Israelís Scriptures will be vindicated by the fulfillment of all prophecy and finally, the return of Christ at the conclusion of the war of Armageddon, at which time He will be anointed and will take His seat at the Throne of David.

Between the First and Second Advents there is the Church Age, a 'mystery' unrevealed to the Hebrew prophets. That is why Daniel's outline of 490 years of Israeli history doesn't anticipate a gap between the 'cutting off of the Messiah' at the end of the sixty-nine weeks of years and the confirmation of the covenant by the antichrist at the onset of the 70th. (Daniel 9:27)

From Daniel's perspective, it is an unbroken narrative of what would befall 'his people' (the Jews) and 'his holy city' (Jerusalem), culminating with the 'anointing of the Most Holy' at the conclusion of the 70th week and the ushering in of Isaiah's Millennial Kingdom. There is no role set aside for the Church in prophecy during the 70th Week, since it is reserved for Israel's national redemption and their acceptance of the Messiah.

The Church has, by definition, already accepted the Messiah and was redeemed at the Cross.

The second purpose Scripture gives for the Tribulation Period is that it is a period of judgment against those who reject Christ and embrace the antichrist.

Since Christians who accept Christ were already judged at the Cross, there is no role set aside for the Church in the judgments pronounced because, "Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts." (Revelation 9:21)

Repentance is a necessary condition of salvation, it is that repentance that causes us to seek forgiveness at the Cross in the first place. Since believers in the Church Age became believers by repenting, there is no purpose for bringing the judgment of an unrepentant world on the Church.

The Rapture isn't a 'Great Escape', contrary to popular belief. The Rapture occurs when the restraining influence of the Holy Spirit is removed with the Church to allow the onset of the 7 year period of unrestrained evil that occurs during the Tribulation. (2nd Thessalonians 2:7)

The Rapture is the Blessed Hope of the Church, but it's primary purpose is not so much a 'rescue mission' as it is a necessary function of the withdrawal of the Holy Spirit's ministry of restraining evil. Since we are indwelt by the Holy Spirit, when the Restrainer is withdrawn, so are we, since we are His vessels.

Therefore, it is certain to conclude that the Church won't be here for the Tribulaton itself, since withdrawing the indwelling of the Holy Spirit from the believing Church would leave them spiritually defenseless at a time of maximum need, something Jesus promised He would never do.

Jesus said we could trust Him that He would never forsake His Church, and His Church is defined as being composed of believers who are indwelt by the Holy Spirit.

"And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you FOREVER. Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth Him: but ye know Him; for He dwelleth with you, and shall be in you."

But there is no reason to conclude the Church will be Raptured for the purpose of providing a 'Great Escape' for, as I said, the Rapture is necessary to withdrawal of the Restrainer, rather than a rescue mission to the Church. "I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you." (John 14:18)

Christians have suffered in every generation, and continue to suffer persecution and death for their faith today in places like Vietnam, China, Sudan and most of the Islamic world.

There is no promise to the Church of the last days for a 'rescue' but rather, the Rapture is the fulfilment of an EXISTING Promise Jesus made that the Holy Spirit would Personally indwell believers and guide us in all truth 'forever'.

"In My Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there ye may be also." (John 14:2-3) For believers, our finite understanding of 'forever' begins with Pentecost and continues to the Rapture, at which point 'forever' takes on its eternal meaning for all believers covered under the Covenant between Jesus and the Church.

"Wherefore comfort one another with these words." (1 Thessalonians 4:18)

So much to unpack here. Did you miss it? Did you even know? Were you told later? Did you notice it then? Did you notice it later? Was someone you personally knew absent? Did you hear stories from others about their personal knowledge of people... suddenly, mysteriously absent? Are you seriously still waiting for it?

hahahahahahh *deep breath* HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

This day just keeps getting better and better, I swear Jesus. Now, remember, Peanut Gallery Kids--this is a prime example of what a suitable, proper, and judiciously selected adjective can do for your writing. And, as we all should well know, it's never too late to turn around for the better. Look at all that subtext I hauled up! It's like Christmas in May!

I like you, Robbins. Ya got spunk. Honestly though, I'm not sure if you were just showing off or your pocket thesaurus fell out whilst mid-fap, so I don't know if you got lucky here, or I did. I can't tell from the rest of the text you posted; I ashcanned the rest. Especially that part, which by training I was forced to slog through, about declining to provide data for the Census--when the obvious call to make there, is to self-report as a Rh- leprechaun with a stature disability and a dreadful fear of paperclips. C'mon, this is a golden opportunity! Fill their data coffers with dross! Have you seen the nitwit twits working the numbers? Anyone clever, saw this Seal opening way early, and is not likely to be slumming it by knocking on doors and shuffling papers. Also, if you think that the Census is how data is mined these days, hey, let me borrow your phone, I gotta make a call, no rly, yah, rly.

BTW, the word on the street these days--and you didn't hear it from me--is that the other six Seals are canceled. Because reasons. Can you either confirm or deny? Skip the Kennedy query, yo--we're in the big leagues now. Well, bigger. Okay, puny. Still a big deal tho.

Dude, no. Not those cops. These guys are fresh. They showed up a few weeks ago, weren't even subtle, it was like I was suddenly in the bumper cars at Coney Island. Amateurs. Total trash.

Look, I'm just sayin'--spotting UC was always my childhood dream, and I never thought I'd manage it, until I did. Then the dream died, because--oh, right, real people, real jobs, whole family has to move, wow, what a hassle. I felt quite chagrined after the ego high faded. Several weeks later.

Good thing I didn't do that one on purpose. S/he/it looked mega pissed. Almost worth it to do it again for kicks, but, no, no no, no, I'm civil. 'Cuz I'm a civilian. No rly. Yah. Rly.

The Seals don't open until after the Great Tribulation begins, with the signing of a peace treaty for the protection of Israel, by and between the European military man who is to become dictator of the revived Roman Empire, and the leader of the One World Religion, which is likely an amalgam of Islam and Catholicism.  Are we there yet?  Soon enough.

Seems like there has been a great many out there busting Sweden's balls.  Highest per capita death rate, don't follow science, put money over lives, buncha ignorant mooseheads, blah blah blah.  But check out the big board and compare Quebec vs Sweden.

As of now there are 44,784 confirmed cases in Quebec with 3,719 deaders.   Sweden has 31,523 cases with 3,831 deaders.  The population of Sweden is 10.23 million and the population of Quebec is 8.485 million.   Seems to me that Quebec deserves more wrath than Sweden yet nary a peep.  Why is that thread?

There was a story out today saying only 7.3% of Stockholm had antibodies, but then goes on to say

QuoteThe findings were roughly in line with models predicting a third of the Swedish capital’s population would have had the virus by now and where at least limited herd immunity could have set in, the Swedish Health Agency said on Wednesday.

“It is a little bit lower (than expected) but not remarkably lower, maybe one or a couple of percent,” Tegnell told a Stockholm news conference. “It squares pretty well with the models we have.

Oh, not concerned at all since you can tell they sensibly have been denied access to any "underlying raw data" which would enable them to pinpoint what room of your house you are in.  It's perfectly safe; that information would only be shared with contact tracers and the like with a legitimate public-health interest.

Seriously, I am not overly concerned with privacy but I have left my phone at home for certain nocturnal expeditions that aren't strictly essential.

I suppose what I dislike is that on the nights I visit the local gay bar, I now need to worry that an app is selling my location information to the "militant Canadians for moral order." Then when I attend my local neo-Nazi rally the next night, I have to worry that Antifa will be sold my data to follow me home.

It's bad enough that the government has access to this (and the police, and the DEA, and now the health officials.) To think that they are selling location info to "special interest" groups is a little concerning considering how divided the country is and how extreme some of the fringes are...
