Absolutely.  There is nothing like conjuring your ancestors and various other spirits into a ritual loaf of bread and then consuming them.  The current vogue for sourdough shares some of this magic (where did that starter come from anyway?) but I want to hear about someone reviving the sweet honey-cakes once baked for the goddess Astarte which (I would argue) are the ancestor of all modern cookies.
