Radio and Podcasts / Re: Art Bell cancels show for good

Listening to Art on KABC right now...pretending that everything is fine and Art will keep going for many years to come. Reality keeps breaking into my fantasy. Stop it already!

PS: Art, please come back after the a-holes are put away!

trust me im right there with u. was not expecting this

Oh well! Maybe we'll be surprised. I'm trying to get the wife to enjoy some ghost stories along with me, now we have to kill time...and we're both kinda sleepy! Come on ghost stories!!! Love the flash back to the old days of the REAL ghost to ghost. Love you Art. 👍

Boooooo. I was all set for ghost stories not questionable recordings. Booooooo. Oh well. Maybe they will be a nice appetizer before the main course of meaty ghost stories. I'll try to stay awake. 💤💤💤

I just thought its dust illuminated by the flash but what the eff do I know.

Can someone please wormhole Art about this guy being full of it....it's dust Art! Reminds me of the "rods" described by some guy Art used to interview who took pictures of blurred insects. This is just silly. But still better than Jorch Snoory.

Listening live on KABC...no 1 hour delay. But the regular KABC listeners missed Arts welcome message and the show just went right into the guest, no lead in or segue or re-introduction of the guest or anything. And didn't the show start tonight with The Chase? The KABC show started with Laura Brannigan's Self Control. Kinda weird. Otherwise, GREAT to hear Art in L.A. on terrestrial radio once again. Cheers!

I agree, KABC should start the show at 9PM, keeping it live and allowing for callers to call in. Also they'd get a 1-hour jump on that fool over on KFI. It' s a win-win-win! Makes little sense to wait an hour just to compete 'directly' with aforementioned fool. A one hour head start is a huge advantage, isn't it?

What are the radio affiliates playing right now?

Several chunks of the first part of the show repeated in my stream, anyone else getting that?

I had that happen too on TuneIn Radio.

I'd kill for a flat earth call instead of yet another shadow person call. It's open lines but it seems like shadow people calls only please. Clique! LOL

Longest. Australian. Story. Ever. No offense.

Let's ask some good questions tonight. Maybe what's up with ed dames and the Malaysian flight wreckage. Just a thought. Cheers.

PS. Love you Art, nighttime is so much more fun again!!!

Come on Art, how do you not know that a house built on rock is better than one built on sand. That's a Snoory-level question. :o :o :o

Everybody: how are you listening to the show? I'm listening on my WinAmp player.

TuneIn Radio app on iPad3. Very few issues since day one. I think it buffered or lost the stream maybe twice since the first show. Cheers.

I'm so glad I'm not settling for Snoory tonight. God bless you Art Bell. Please don't go away ever again.

It feels like 1997, when I first started listening to C2C. I'm loving Art all over again! Cheers everyone.

"The point being, is..." Last night it was "The point being, is is..."

AAAaaarrrrrrgggghhhhhhhhhh!

That's his trademark. Every time I see Steve Quayle's name I hear his voice saying 'and the point being is is that'. Just say "the point is" followed by an actual point! Just once! PLEASE!!!! "The point being+is+is+that" is grammatically ridiculous and when you don't have a cogent point it becomes wildly and aggressively annoying. /end rant

Sweet! Thank you MV for posting those links, I have the first interview that is part of my "collection of old stuff to listen to when the live C2C sucks", will love hearing the next two interviews.

Cheers.

So last night I woke up to my dog barking outside and couldn't fall back asleep so I enjoyed listening to the 2AM rebroadcast of C2C and heard The Great One make some sort of prediction, he even said to 'write this down'. I'm paraphrasing but it was something like: In the next 5 to 12 months, 'something big' is going to happen between North and South Korea, and between Israel and Iran. Is there a place on this site where you post predictions on some sort of timeline so follow along as they do or don't happen? I was just wondering as back in June a guest made some prediction about some global event or mitary action right after the 4th of July and (of course) nothing happened. Just wondering.

Cheers.

Thanks for the .mp3 up there. Next time I'm jonesing for some douchey Dames hokum, nonsense, baloney, bosh, bull, bunkum, flimflam, hooey, jazz, malarkey, poppycock, bunk, humbug, stuff and/or claptrap I'll be all set. Good times!

Cheers.

That jackhole last night: Steve Quayle. I guess he's not a 'bad' guest as he is soooooo bad that he crosses the line into entertainment. But I can only listen for a few minutes and by the time he says "what I'm saying is is that" for about the 20th time I'm out. Wow, just wow.

All I can remember from last night (and every other SQ performance) is "20-ft giants what I'm saying is is that Grand Canyon fortress so what I'm saying is is that Afghanistan giants but what I'm saying is is that copper bracelets so what I'm saying is is that repeat repeat repeat repeat..."

What complete douchbaggery!

My favorite 'prediction' was the white van with four people inside on the 5 Freeway headed towards the San Onofre nuclear plant to blow it up or some nonesense. I remember laughing at the time then thinking, what if he's right? Then remembering that it just Ed Dames, so no worries. What a buffoon. Cheers.

WOW! I remember that night. I was also thinking, hey, that's almost plausible. Glad he was wrong...again!

He he! What a douche indeed. I don't know how he managed to get this job. He is about the least qualified person on earth for C2C. Cheers.
