Hello everyone,
I was reading a lot of the post, not just the Art Bell ones, but some of the general disscussion ones also. I hope area51drone got his tree problem sorted out, the world needs more trees. I started listening to Art when he was on KENI up in Anchorage Alaska, been a fan since then. He has a unique way of drawing answers out of guest, and people in general. The shows I enjoyed the most I think were the open line nights, you just never knew who/what or where in time someone was going to call from. What pushed me over the edge though, so to speak, though was the SpecSheet/Gabcast podcast. My wife and I thought they were pretty good, and it sounded like everyone was having a lot of fun doing the show. The world needs more fun, and trees.

LOL,  I hope I'm getting them fixed!   Welcome to the forum and thanks for reading my topic.   I find I spend the vast majority of my time in the general discussion thread - it's almost like an "open lines" for BellGab.   Good company -  for the most part anyway - the variety of folks who chat on here is wonderful.

I listened to Art back in the 90's and had been quickly falling to sleep to Dave until early August. When I learned that Art was returning --I went cold turkey, completely stopped turning on the radio at night  and canceled the free CoastZone daily emails that I didn't read anyways and just clogged up my inbox.

Last Thursday, in honor of the #FreeArtBell campaign,  I sent an email to Sirius personel - the executives that Spinner had posted and also the board of directors email. I wrote that I wanted to make it crystal clear to them when I had cancelled my subscription effective Nov. 15th, and relayed to them my experiences with being a Sirius subscriber, hopes for Art Bell, and some of my concerns regarding George Noory.

The following day, November 15, I received a short reply from Sirius Corporate Customer Relations. It was from Lee who obviously had not read my email as she/he wrote informing me that Art had ended Dark Matter and invited me  to listen to Coast to Coast AM with George Noory. In my email I had included that my subcription ended that day and included specific concerns regarding George Noory.

On Monday, I received another email from Sirius, inviting me to complete an online survey to get my  "valuable opinion on how well we took care of your most recent need" on November 15. I just couldn't resist and completed the survey this afternoon.

Now here is a coincidence - while I was completing the Sirius survey, I had received an email. When I finished the survey,I opened the email without recognizing what it was. There was a picture of Dave starring at me --- it was today's CoastZone newsletter!  I freaked and quickly scrolled to the bottom to use the one-click unsubscribe link. I had not resubscribed and hadn't received one since August, so I guess the computers at C2C are acting up today or something?

Hi everyone!  I found this forum Monday evening (Nov 4) after searching online what happened to Dark Matter.  I've enjoyed lurking for these past couple of weeks while things unfolded.  Too bad certain threads have taken a more noticeably negative tone.  The good things that have come out of finding out about this board is that I've found cool podcasts to start listening to as well as finding people who also feel crestfallen about what C2C has become (I've never thought to google those famous 3 words, or I may have gotten here sooner).  I'll save my thoughts on that for another day.

Hello. Just joined. Been reading the forums for about two months. I am glad to be here.  I have been an Art Bell fan since the early 90's.  I tried that other guy, but I just couldn't do it. I was so happy to be listening to new Art Bell shows & disappointed when it ended so abruptly. Looking forward to him streaming when he is able to.

Learned about the board from a mutual acquaintance (who incidentally is looking at life in prison right now, so I doubt I'll be seeing him here any time soon). I'm a visual artist living and working in the middle of the desert. I'm excited about the Dark Matter Radio Network. That is all.
