The BellGab "New Member" Meet and Greet!

Kit Katz

Found this group via a post at the People Who Miss Art Bell page at FB. Such a wealth of material to browse and enjoy.  I've been a C2C listener since 1994 or was it before that? A friend mentioned the program, I tuned in one night and was hooked. I recall that I was listening in 1994 because Art was discussing the "big controversy" of the day -- the alleged Tonya Harding sabotage of her rival Nancy Kerrigan. Oh, yes, tabloid news was all the rage way back then too  :(

The paranormal topics were fresh and intriguing back then since mainstream programming wasn't doing anything like this. Also, Art's casual and spontaneous format made for excellent late night listening -- just Art and the listeners sharing bizarre and spooky stories around the campfire as it were.

So . . . all these years later, still a listener here in southwest Oregon, though not quite as regularly and not quite as enthusiastically. The topics have grown a bit stale with repetition and the network managed program just isn't the same. Looking forward to reading posts and comments here  :)

Ms Katz you should really check out the Art Bell stream then... much better then the running show im sure you could tell.  I stumbled on Art quite by accident back around the same time you did although I believe back then I already had Tonyas porn available... anyhoo... you should check out the Art Bell stream thats linked in the nav bar up top it runs the old school art stuff 24/7 so that whenever snore boy gets ya down you can always look to some good old school art to pick ya back up... I like to listen to the old stuff and figure out what the hell my ass was doing way back when... lol... which idiot was I screwing and what band I was in... but as far as the topics go some of them are timeless.  the NDE's and some of the hidden bible books are my favs. oh yeah... and mr foot... love my HOMO-nids.

Ryno

Hello. I've been reading here for a little while, and have already benefited from here by finding the Fine Art stream, Funkbaldy, and a few other things. Although I do find the conversations here quite interesting much of the time, I doubt I will post much. I just wanted to say hello and thank you!  8)

Oh and ziznak-  I love your avatar, lol

ziznak

I try...

feel free to post Ryno we don't bite... unless you act like a dick or something. People WILL def call you out on stuff here.

Seems like we've been seeing a lot of new members lately.  Behold the power of PIZZA ROLLS!!! although the pizza roll fiasco happened late in November so I guess the numbers may have been record breaking anyway.

Hey MV have we actually seen a lot of people getting alts or is there like a spike in new members or something??

Surmo

I agree wholeheartedly, Ziznak, that the unpredictable nature of the Stream is the key point in making it great - that and its good selections.  Being a an attorney with my own office, I am free to download old Art shows into my computer, and have an ungodly (make that Godly!) number of them.  Even so, it is still better to turn on the Stream, and see what's on.  Reminds me of my first time listening to Art, driving on business through NM (I live in MI) one night in the very early '90s, and coming across this "Bell fellow."  The moon light streaming in with a clear and starry sky, and nobody else on the road while I listened to a show on the strange happenings in the world.  That, in a nutshell, encapsulates how I fell in love with this show.  (What is on now is not said show, it is a mockery of its former greatness.)

I've been super busy and off the board for a while. What's with this user score thing?

Also, welcome all noobs!

In terms of traffic, November was a record breaking month.

Would have been good on a resume too.

I hope that you continue to post. You and other new members write very well. It's interesting to read your varied takes on all kinds of things. It's also interesting to notice the common threads running through most of the introductions.

Mr.Ziznak
Have you read"The Other Bible";Ancient alternative Scriptures,Harper Collins, edited by Willis Barstone,ISBN 0-06-250030-9(PAPERBACK) has a lot of gospels that got left out of the usual editions.
I always found it interesting that there were may teachings that got left in the dust of time or were purged  from what came down as orthodox narative.
The there is also Apolonius of Tyana that was a inspired teacher of the same era that whose history may or may not have been mixed into the Jesus story narrative. There are a lot of teachings ad 'Christianities" that are vertually unknown and many were actively purged and or made war on.Many books met the fires of the early purges. Many came down only because they were conceiled and or buried in caves. the 'ole he who wins writes the history.

Greetings My Children!  This Is God.   Nice To See All Of You Here At Coast Gab.  This Is My First Post.  And That Is Me Relaxing On My Golden Couch.

I Know Most Of You Are Doing Well So I Do Not Need To Ask.  Some Of You Are Not Doing So Well.  And That's Ok.

I Am Here Doing Some Repairs In Your End Of Your Solar System.   I Will Try To Drop In Here From Time-To-Time.  Most Likely During Your Evenings When I Put My Feet Up.  As I Am Doing Now. On My Golden Couch.

Listen, I Am So Sorry About My Child George.  But What Can I Do?  Free-Will Is A Bitch Sometimes, Eh?  I Will Explain...

Your Blame Should Actually Be Directed Towards The Source Of Your Misery:  Adam.   He Is Responsible For The Downfall Of Your Species Which Includes The Hiring Of George As The Host Of Coast To Coast Am.

In Reality, It Was Eve Who Started The Problem Via Her Free-Will Choice Of Eating My Private Stash Of Fruit, Which Was Forbidden.  But She Is A Woman So Her Brain Is Slightly Smaller.  Try To Forgive Her.

Adam, However, Was Birthed From Me.  He Even Suckled On My Nipples; He Should Have Had The Strength And Will-Power To Prevent Eve From Doing What She Did.

Unfortunately, Eve Was A Hottie.  Adam Could Not Resist Her Charm.  Could You If You Are A Male?  Or Were A Male?  Here Is A Photograph Of Her:

You Could, If You Wish, Direct Your Blame Towards Me.   But I Would Not Recommend It.

Never Forget My Cosmic Know-How.  Have You Not Noticed That Through George's Shortcomings You Are Finding More Interesting And Possibly Better Radio Shows Out There?

See?  It's Ok.

Try To Forgive George.  And Help To Stop Illiteracy On Your Planet. Perhaps By Making A Donation.

I Must Go Now.  I Just Realized I Dropped My Hammer On Mars.  I Must Fetch It Before My Child Richard Sees It.

I Love You Always Or At Least Most Of The Time,

G O D

So much for having fun.  I guess the admin purged my brother's account and merged it with mine?  Perhaps that's my cue to purge myself.....

It's all in good fun, my brother. Stick around until I split in a couple weeks.

DAE

Who has the right to merge my account with someone else?  Or WTF happened?   I love my knuckleball bro but I sure the heck don't want to share accounts with him.  If he broke the rules, so be it.

Where are you going in a couple weeks?

It might have been caused by a glitch in the forum's system.

We might go back to our normal schedules in January, to make a long story short.

DAE

Alrighty then I understand.

If it helps with glitch shooting, we are on the same computer/IP.   A sad event for me for the next 3 weeks as demonstrated by these retro magazine models.
