No, nothing so interesting.

Great weather, access to pretty much every kind of resource/restaurant/thing to do, very quiet for being a huge, populous place. I'm not a huge crowd person, but since you're from NY City I imagine you can't live without crowds of some kind.
I haven't been in the area in years, but it certainly was a beautiful place to visit, especially around Newport Beach, of course.

I've thought about Saugerties in upstate NY, close to Woodstock. There is also a town called Lilyvale that sounds cool because of the high percentage of psychics/mediums/spiritualists in the area.

Not to worry.  The Great Bobo has the answer for his willing subjects.  His loving hand will be felt throughout his flock!

You know he has connections in high places and I happen to know someone who was at the designer's meeting with Michael Kors- it didn't go well...

The Marriott Villas.  I remember going to this place.

A good one.
It's still good?  Glad to hear it, MFM.  Wow, it sure brings back memories.   Good ones!  :)

How come stuff we EAT will stain a shirt? With no hopes of getting it out? And could that questionable taco stand chorizo taco stain that dripped on shirt, and would come out in a wash even with bleach, also explain another incident on the throne earlier?

Heard on the Elvis channel on XM a live Graceland show that opened with this. And also with weird, urban-styling 'mixing' and on the records. Never heard it before. Very weird. As his intro. Had to be one of the last shows? The best version of the song was the remix when "Chauncey Gardener" strolls through the ghetto in DC in "Being There" though.

I finally gave up on that, albrect.  As I've gotten older, I've noticed my shirt has become a bib, whether I like it or not.  My solution, at least when it's warm, and I don't have to wear something dressy?

These:

Inexpensive, multiple colors, as comfortable as it gets, look pretty decent, and when you inevitably stain it, spray some stain remover on it, let it set for a bit, then wash.  Since it's synthetic, just about anything I've slopped on them will wash out, if you hit it with some stain remover first.  Even though it's synthetic, the shirt looks and almost feels like silk.

Nice. I love Academy! The weekend before the 4th found a 'discounted' fishing shirt for less than $20, others retailing in the 80's, sure the colors were a bit weak but I'm man enough to wear a peach-themed shirt if it is breathable and UV protecting my skin while fishing! And also scored some magazines (thinking Obama gonna ban some stuff soon.)
ps: back to housewife stuff, what is your best stain remover? OxyMagic works pretty good for me, but oddly, I can only find at weird stores like Big Lots (which is an experience in demographic high-jinx and weird incidents itself!)

Oh, yeah, Academy is great, especially when you get something on sale. :)  I'll never make it as Hints from Heloise  ;) but with the Academy BCG shirts, I've found just about any stain remover will work.  I preferred Dirty Jobs 32-oz Laundry Stain Remover, which I used to get at WalMart or Lowes but they no longer carry it.  That stuff worked great. Sometimes, I've had to do more than one attempt but these blasted shirts not only eventually release a stain in the wash, they seem to be damn near indestructible and color fast.  I've bought a number of them and the first bunch I bought several years ago look virtually new.

When it comes to clean, wholesome, all-American fun, few things beat reading the Engrish version of a Japanese porn movie:

"Purpuric big tits in a petite body! Hey appearance of Chavon Taylor-chan! Evening, she had been horny by the pool, I would boldly began to masturbation! Even though it does not know what has been seen from anywhere, and expose boast of big breasts, but himself and Nuritaku the oil that was to bring massage ~! Chavon chan are raised while delusion a place that has been embraced by the man! Black Guy appeared the site work as come true to there! Upright your Tsu the Big Penis, has been shifted to the Chavon chan ~! ~ That it is started without even run away Chavon chan that rut! Fellatio in the pool side, Tit and large service! And go to the indoor, Buchikomu the Big Penis to back ~! Moreover, Chavon chan or Hey I would put this big black cock anal! This guy has the wreck yo ~!"

I can usually harvest a few good catch phrases from any one description.  In this case:

I would boldly began to masturbation!

Upright your Tsu the Big Penis

This guy has the wreck yo ~!

All show promise.  Honorable mention to:

Hey I would put this big black cock anal!

Somewhere I saw the Japanese translation of Monty Python & the Holy Grail, translated back into English.  It was hysterical.  There was something like "You're dad looks like a small mammal and your mother has the fragrance of various fruits."

For those of you who ever wondered if there were a bottom to my madness... the following video is something that I simply could not bring myself to finish watching. Enjoy.

Was listening to the radio pundits on the recent events and politics and hand-watering the lawn and heard the local news mention that a nearby water district has alerted people for a break and so a boil notice due to possible contamination. Common thing- BUT- "bring to a roiling boil and cool before drinking." Never heard that bold-type addition before in the fairly common notices! Now we must remind people not to drink BOILING WATER?!?!

for when that speshul (?) feeling hits you
