I don't think there's enough good material out there for frequent open lines shows, so why not fill the time w gags?

Heather could do with a little more show prep and drop some more paranormal/fringe  news stories throughout the show.

That or not go with only one subject for the special line, but have a different one every hour. Maybe have them connected, but giving each subject its own hour.
