Chinese boy treated for sore throat bleeds to death after quack doctor cuts neck with scalpel

A bogus doctor from central China killed an 11-year-old boy with a sore throat after he cut his neck with a scalpel and the child bled to death, according to a media report.

The man told the boy’s mother that he needed blood letting to cure a tonsil infection and he is then thought to have cut an artery, Henan People’s Radio Station reported on its website.
