It's just not 1995 anymore. People are more sci and tech oriented these days and less willing to get swept away with a paranormal story. Paranormal is still good, but the bar is higher. The landscape has changed.

I'm sure this guest was scheduled to be on with Art and he'd be spewing the same crap and Art would be similarly amazed by it. More than half of Art's guests were crap - that's just how it goes with this type of wide open radio show.

I'm not listening but don't you think Art would have a tighter leash on this guest? Or know to go to phone calls earlier than planned? Or somehow figure out a better way to save the show? Maybe it's just my psychic powers but that's probably what the story is. Lest ye forget, the paranormal is full of bad guests. It takes a great host, like Art, to make them better.
