Usually I suspend disbelief, but Art offered to take calls and instead we are listening to a fake time traveler who isn't even good at telling his fake story!!! Blowing that off is pissing me off to the tenth degree.

anyone remember that show where an 'Amy' called in and toyed with Art about potentially reading the news...  It was an August episode and I'll need to find it again but it sure as hell happened and Amy sure as hell reads the news now in place of Leo.

Heather's questions aren't bad exactly, but even in this day and age of the banal and amateur, her presence just lacks professionalism.  In the months since she debuted as Art's putative co-host, she doesn't seem to have really done anything to improve, despite so much criticism, even on these boards.  Without Art, the show is all but dead.   Shame.  Maybe Art will come back, but Midnight in the Desert has turned into folly.
