Western time. Hmmm. Not sure I can catch it then. What time would that be on Country time? Or Pacific time?

My name is Joshua Chaires, I am the brand new associate producer of Dr. J Andy Ilias on Dr. J Radio Live. Dr. J Radio Live is featured on the Dark Matter Digital Network on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00-9:00 Pm Western Time right before Midnight in the Desert. Does anybody have advice on how I can grow in my role, and how I can serve the Dark Matter Digital Network community? =). Redacted has been a role model to me to very much as well. You could start by laying out what you do in that job, and what the other staffers are responsible for.

The only things that I know about being a producer come from watching others.

1. I believe that you are responsible for directing Dr.J. to the nearest hospital.

2. You are responsible to ensure that his golden vocal chords not get burned by overheated pizza rolls; don't turn your back for a second, or you may find yourself dealing with duty (1).

3. You will grow yourself to proportions to make him look small when riding in the back seat of a car during parade season.

4. You will support him in all endeavors up to and including allowing him to publicly humiliate himself singing Elvis and Tom Jones.

5. You will screen calls and direct callers to praise his work and the job he is doing live on air.

That is all I can think of off hand. I'm sure there are other duties- but asking Redacted and even the Dr. himself what the expectations are will likely yield better advice than I can offer.

I bet SaucyRossy could give you some tips...he's amazing and has taken RCH's show to new heights!

Agreed. He deserves all praise and kudos for creating a Hoagland that everyone can love and admire. The show is fabulous. Saucy rules.

I wouldn't mind an upcoming guest list. Maybe a little promo/bio before the shows air?

I have. He's on before Art so I usually hear at least some of his shows. Last night they had a travelin' kind of dude. He was all "no drugs or alcohol" but when it came to Ayahuasca he was all "drink that shit up!"

Travelin' dude said he became awoken when he was in elementary school and all the kids were doing drugs, smoking and drinking. Really travelin' dude? Really? Elementary school? He must have gone to a rough school. Anyway--Dr. J is still one of Art's producers I think and for me he's kind of hit and miss--but he aint bad. I think nbirnes probably has a backstory on him that would be interesting to hear.
