Yeah I mean he should be better prepared for stuff like that, but it's just sad how a sound bite can destroy the guy's credibility.  Of course he doesn't have the massive clout and money behind him that either of the two main parties have, so it's easy for the media & pundits etc. to just write him off, whereas with the other two candidates, we just move on to the next campaign stop and it's all good.

fwiw I agree that one comment shouldn't necessarily sink a campaign, it's just that that one was particularly cringeworthy (like Sarah Palin level), and I voted for the guy.  Most people might view this as a waste of time, but nonetheless I think the upcoming debates should include the two main 3rd parties as well.

Fundamentalists are by definition extremists. We keep bombing Assad's guys because the "rebels" are our extremists. 

Just because one group is Islamist doesn't mean they are going to be friends with another Islamist group or even have the same interests or goals. Turkish back rebels are going to be more friendly to Turkey, an ally, than Al-Nusra. Both of which are at war with Daesh. There are all sorts of different groups with different goals.

Try to study the conflict before you comment on it.

Oh I agree it was cringeworthy.  He should have said something like "Could you elaborate on the question" until it clicked.  Of course both the others have had lousy moments, but they get do-overs.  Anyway obviously he never had any real chance anway, but I'm just bummed we just get the same polarized positions ad nauseum without the general populace even thinking there might be an alternative way of looking at things.  The founders meant for us to discuss these things in public, not to have scripted corporate parties force us into no-win choices.

he has done this since day one. he had a stalker that used to call every night 3 minutes into the show. eventually you didn't hear the phone ring anymore during his monologue or while doing an interview, i assumed it was because he finally snapped out of it and turned the ringer off... but now i am leaning more towards the idea that the stalker got bored of the show and dickster and took a break for a while. if i hear that god damn phone one more time tonight i am killing the stream. i hate phones and ringers and pokey mans.
