SNIFF! Ah, smell the evil.  :D

Dammit, this is scary shit. Along with the satanic rituals at CERN and the Switzerland "Gotthard Base Tunnel" openings, there is crazy shit going on.

Hoagland: "Eisenhower built the International Highway System."

(Colour me impressed.)

A special edition of Open Hailing Frequencies tonight with Stephen Basset, Dr. Richard Spence, Georgia Lambert and Dr. Joseph Buchman! They'll be talking about the election and politics! If Wolfman and Special Correspondent M̢i̱͚̜͖c̜̞h̠́e̷̦͇̦l̺̞͍͔̮̹ļ̟̫̩̤̟ẹ͝ calls in I don't know if I would be able to take it! Robin isn't listed but I hope she makes an appearance.

trostol

hmm..i think i talked up Spence's appearance by mentioning him last night lol

I slept amazing last night! It was so wonderful and glorious.

Then assume your throne and make this thread hop.

Even I am not powerful enough to overcome the combined forces of Hoagland, Spence (worst professor ever), Bassett, Lambert and Buchman. Hopefully everyone boycotts tonight and his streaming numbers are so awful that Fred comes in and bans political talk and these guests from the show. I want new content and crazy content provided by people like Gary Spivey (hey Showroom!) not shitty professors in Idaho going on about stuff they don't know.

A panel of old white people talking politics. I can get that anywhere. Only RCH can provided wacky torsion field nonsense! Stick with what makes you unique, Hoagie!

Have you written to Hoagland to tell him you'd like to see Spivey back on as a guest?

Ciardelo

LOL! Dr. Spence doesn't parrot the extreme liberal agenda so he upsets the youngsters.  ;D

I'm still not going to be tuned in either. Hoagie doesn't bring ANYthing to ANY political discussion despite his close friendship with Cronkite. Sandy does have a point--we can hear this shit any number of places.

/Solidarity against the politicization of space woo shows.

"Disclosure is just around the corner" Stephen Bassett 1996
"Disclosure is just around the corner" Stephen Bassett 2016

20 years same shit.

The assertion Joseph P. Farrell made last night that the Nazis didn't really lose the war (it just looked as though they did) wasn't new and crazy enough for you?  And what about Hoagland trying to connect the Fourth Reich to Trump at the end of the broadcast?

There is just no pleasing some people.  :(

...And what about Hoagland trying to connect the Fourth Reich to Trump at the end of the broadcast?

He's been doing that for awhile.  Usually right after he decries how polarized the tone of politics has become.

I would give a lot to be able to quiz Walter Cronkite briefly on just how close he and Hoagland really were (or were not).  Something tells me that Cronkite worked with hundreds (if not thousands) of people once or twice in the course of following a story during his four decades in the news business and then never spoke to them again; I suspect Hoagland was one of these.

It is odd how Hoagland's famous "good friends" never seem to be members of the oxygen-sucking demographic.   ???

One article I remember reading was that Cronkite was at KSC or JSC. Hoagland was phoning it in. I wonder if they ever met face to face.

Hoagland once told a story from Apollo days. He and Cronkite, and some nameless female "whose long hair was flying in the wind" were speeding along the Beeline Expressway that connects Orlando airport to the Cape. Cronkite said "You know, Dick, give it a generation and these moonshots will be the stuff of legend and the basis of action movies." How right he was. But, y'know, that doesn't convey any sense of deep friendship, it's just shop talk.

I could be mistaken but I think Hoagland was living in NYC at that time.
