Jobs didn't die as a result of alternative health cures. He ate that way all of his adult life. The guy ate mostly just fruits and vegetables, often not caring or paying attention to whether he was getting adequate fats and proteins. Unfortunately, we're only now discovering how damaging having almost no saturated fat in your diet can be. I'd say this contributed to his demise more than anything, really. He was a stubborn, headstrong guy though and didn't accept advice easily. Furthermore, he put off getting any standard treatment until it was too late. He may have tried some alternatives but it's highly unlikely that they were anything but ineffective.  The Isaacson biography is good and worth a read.

Just wanted to point out that it wasn't any alternative "cure" Jobs was trying that killed him, it was more his lifelong alternative diet that contributed to this most likely.

Check out the above twitter exchange. To me this says that Keith has been trying to pull the rug out from under RCH for months, trying to find a replacement for him so he can drop him.
We know Art wouldn't let Keith replace HW, so what is the other live show? It's OSOM.
I see why RCH is so unhappy with DMDN now-RCH doesn't deserve the hot seat and his show is still pretty good some nights.

I think this might be about someone having a grudge against Hoagie.

If I see someone eating a meal with an avocado as a centerpiece or happy to go along with "Meatless Monday" the alarm bells go off as "one of those." On Monday I eat twice as much meat to make up for this in protest.
