Btw here's my argument on why Spy Who Loved Me is the greatest Bond film.

Best theme song
Best opening sequence
Best leading lady
Best car
Best chase sequence (motorbikes, car, helicopter)
Top three villain
Most exotic locations
Underwater coolness
Great finale
Decent Bond

I had an old gf who referred to him as 'a dandy' lol.
I never thought Moore was right for the part. Not that he played it badly, just that he didn't seem to fit the character.

My Top Bond Films:

Goldfinger
From Russia With Love
Casino Royale
Skyfall
The Spy Who Loved Me

I lost a bit of respect for Moore after watching Boat Trip

was he also in cannonball run?

FRWL is great too, would have been my 4th place.  On Skyfall, good sir, we shall agree to disagree, gentlemanly-like.

Very well.  lol.  I do agree with you that Goldeneye was Brosnan's best film and it is in the upper reaches as one of the best films.  I developed quite a crush on Famke Janssen due to that role.  She hasn't been nearly as good in anything afterwards.

On Her Majesty's Secret Service
Skyfall
From Russia With Love and Goldfinger tied

My favorite Moore Bond is his first, Live And Let Die.  Jane Seymour and McCartney's song  put it at the top for me.
There have been some excellent tunes that came from Bond soundtracks.

Cannonball run is such a horrible movie! Everyone should watch the original: Gumball Rally!  ;) 8)

So many great soundracks.  Goldfinger, Thunderball were great.  And believe it or not overall Moonraker is really good.

I can't argue with that list.

Have you seen Gumball Rally?!  ???

The Doc has the edge on this one ... Gumball > Cannonball

yep. I still like the special effect on the original Star wars better than the new stuff

any day of the week. real light and shadows.. not to mention physics. and no macro pixel surgery with twinkling and glimmer on every edge and corner of every object and blade of grass. also, droids shuffling around like liquid jelly is exceptionally retarded.

I agree. Raker is not as horrible as everyone seems to think. It was one of the better Moore (over the top) films. Jaws was in it!  ;D

Yeah and no CGI has ever affected me like that opening Imperial Cruiser shot, made with models.
Oh Man, the first time I saw that - it was in the theater - it was awesome. Nothing like it had ever been done before. To be subjected to that on the big screen, with the musical score they used (remember, this was in the era of really whiny country songs) was the most kick ass thing I had seen up to that time.

I will say that watching Gravity in the theater in 3d was great. On DVD it sucked

Such a thrilling moment.  And the sountrack, one of the all-time best ever.  I had that thing on infinte loop for a long time.

I have to argue about it having the best song but it is close to the top.

Best Songs

Live And Let Die
Goldfinger
Thunderball
We Have All The Time In The World (Louis Armstrong from On Her Majesty's Secret Service)
Nobody Does It Better
You Only Live Twice
For Your Eyes Only
A View To A Kill

All the songs suck after A View To A Kill

Now 'Jaws' (the character) kicked ass.  :)

It's the fake physics that instantly turns me off to a flick. A dude gets slammed against the wall hard enough to turn him into a pile of mush, and he just gets up and walks away like nothing happened, not even limping.

Fair point, those are all good.  I'd add Goldeneye in there.

It's a funny movie but you must watch it uncut to get the most laughs out of Sheriff Buford T. Justice.

I wore out my BSG on vinyl. The very beginning where the orchestra just explodes out of nothing. The theme song still gives me goose bumps to this day.
I hated the remake. They made it politically correct. Fuck That !
