lol i cant wait till emperor trump executes hillary

Trump would send you to Mexico. luckily Hillary is going to win and all she is going to do is take your guns (which you shouldn't have because you're cray cray and should on the no fly list as well)

Best James Bonds from top to bottom.

Sean Connery
Daniel Craig
Timothy Dalton
Pierce Brosnan
Roger Moore
George Lazenby (however he is probably in the best film)

I just picked up "The PKD Reader".  Don't even know what's in there yet lol.  I've been trying to fill in some gaps in my sci-fi background.

The two that are most memorable for me are Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep and Radio Free Albemuth but some of his short stories are great too.

You have to split Moore into two parts, early and later.  Updated list :)

Sean Connery
Pierce Brosnan
Daniel Craig
Early Roger Moore
Timothy Dalton
Later Roger Moore
George Lazenby

Now how about this ... Top 3 Bond flicks?

That is true.  I like Moore's films but I just feel he didn't have the grittiness that the role needed.  He was more of a Bulldog Drummond type.

Well I think all those original movies you mentioned were pretty crappy too - nostalgia can be a powerful thing.

nothing nostalgic about suspending disbelief to wires, models and blue screen effects when it is overshadowed by proper acting and storytelling... every movie now is on steroids. much of it is culture porno now and not much else. it's the same with music and TV bullshit. it is very much sterile and dumbed down.

I lost a bit of respect for Moore after watching Boat Trip

yep. I still like the special effect on the original Star wars better than the new stuff

I had an old gf who referred to him as 'a dandy' lol.

Moore chose a more satirical approach to playing Bond. He said he thought it was ridiculous that there was anything secret about the guy. Everyone knew who he was and even what his favorite drink was.  :D

Still, I don't think that served the character well or was representative of the original intent of the writing.

The Spy Who Loved Me
You Only Live Twice
Goldeneye

On Her Majesty's Secret Service
Skyfall
From Russia With Love and Goldfinger tied

My favorite Moore Bond is his first, Live And Let Die.  Jane Seymour and McCartney's song  put it at the top for me.

Yeah and no CGI has ever affected me like that opening Imperial Cruiser shot, made with models.

Wow CP, that's about the best description I've ever heard. Sad that it's spot-on and true. :(

FRWL is great too, would have been my 4th place.  On Skyfall, good sir, we shall agree to disagree, gentlemanly-like.

That pretty much sums it up.  He seemed like an upper-class Brit who engaged in spying as a lark.

my favorite is the living daylights. i haven't seen any outside of that one in the past 20 or more years so can't scientifically rank any others. i used to like octopussy and view to a kill a lot. i would need to rewatch to make a proper judgement it's been too long.
