VERY MUCH SO.

So RCH arguing with a corpse for 2 hours? Yep, that would definitely be a must-listen show!

That actually sounds like his recent C2C appearances.

Glad you all enjoyed tonight's show with Dave Distler.

As Richard said, you're not going to want to miss the next show....the guest will be great.

I have been listing to Art since the 90's, the only thing i ever bought was a radio from C Crane, it was a portable shortwave, good radio, i have no idea where its at today

I had one of the old baygen crankup radios. Go figure a damn methhead broke it. He figured his electricity was out so...I told him crank it i think no more than 60 times. Been a while. He figured just keep cranking. Fucking idiot. Tried to pay me off with a quarter of cheap weed that smelled like perfume.. He bled on his way out.

This is entirely your fault, never trust a methhead, i still would have taken the weed and sold it in a schoolyard  ;D

Could be something related to the X-Files.  ???

random guess:

How about Stan Lee?  :D

ShayP

Hoagie doesn't do UFO's so I don't feel the spotlights are indicative of that. (i.e. Battle of Los Angeles)

Time lapse?!?
Probably.  You can do a lot more with individual images than you can with single exposures.  You can pick out the best.  You can align them and beat down the noise as if it were one long exposure.  You can just overlay them and get the equivalent of star trails.  And you can set them as frames in an animation.

On Wednesday for the meteor shower, I was doing 30 seconds with 4 second pauses between the shots to record the data (<4 secs and the camera wouldn't cooperate).  I got teeny bits of trails, but the alternative was 20 seconds and 3 second pauses which was losing 15% of my total time for writing to memory, versus 13%.  So, that's what I'll probably do again.

Problem is that it's a 2-hr drive each way, I have to leave my hotel NO LATER THAN 9AM tomorrow morning to drive to Phoenix for my flight ... BUT while astronomical twilight at the Canyon is 8:54PM (at which point there is no lingering light from the sun), the weather forecast is for 50% cloud cover there until about 2AM.  So ... I'm trying to decide what to do.  I'll probably just head up, leaving here around 7PM, and photograph the clouds roaming across the stars until I get too tired, then I'll drink caffeine, and I'll drive back.

Speaking of which, I'm going to nap for 3.5 hrs now. :)

FYI, here're three of the shots I did of the Perseids (and scenery) on Wednesday night / Thursday morning.  And then had 4 hrs of sleep before my conference.  This forum shrinks 'em down, but you can click on any to expand.  The expanded versions I uploaded to the web are 16% of the full size.

Your pics are now part of my wallpaper rotation.  Thanks astroguy.  :D
