At least it's all in nice bite size 'explain to the lowest common denominator morons' chunks that you can lap up without any critical thinking and exclamations of 'Hey, wait, they're taking things out of context, that isn't right.' Because lets' face it, they haven't the wit.

You need an American Spring; remind us again who the champion of that was right up until no-one turned up for it? Erm, no? It'll come to you karl baby. Here's a clue; He goes for guys in camo clothes and beards.

... And What If Obama ordered super-intelligent alligators to round up Christians and throw them in lava pits?

...And What If Obama mandated that every white child under the age of 12 be infected with HIV, then were denied medical insurance?

...And What IF Obama personally ... I don't know... ate the hearts of all the Jews, and laughed while doing so, then revealed he was The Beast?

It's just all so plausible... that's the worrying thing.

I just think that ad could have used slightly more sinister music, though.

This way to the Lava Pits, Christian scum!

And then they came for the BellGabbers.......

What if you got of your ass and did something beside bicth? What if we stopped blaming each other and decide to take control away from the elite? What if we got rid of the Federal Reserve and started controlling our own currency? What if we stopped being fooled by propaganda and realize we are slaves to the elite. What if we keep doing the same thing we have been doing and expecting a different outcome? I would really like to see people stop falling for the same crap over and over!!1

In all seriousness, brother Zoo, what are you doing?  For my part, I continue to try to reach ppl with the message.  To Withdraw Consent.  To take action, on whatever scale, begin.

Well besides volunteering for the Wounded Warriors program and Salvation Army I am starting a troubled youth camp. I also belong to several grassroots groups who are trying to get third party people elected in local elections. I also protest to show those in charge that some of us are not fooled by their BS. I also help at music Festivals to inform people of their rights and how to flex them in a calm and direct manner. I also got some things in the works to try and reach more people. I only wish I could do more!!1

thanks for your efforts, brother Zoo. I don't mean to put words in your mouth, but I think we both realize the terrible truth,  'Why fight a war 10,000 miles from home, when there is a war in our streets every damn day.'

The bullets may not be flying past our head, right now, but that doesn't mean that we are not war.

With 'our' own.

I think it's over.

Too many people living off handouts from the rest of us to vote for anyone offering fiscal responsibility.  The debt is massive - $18 Trillion in issued debt alone, plus another what, $100 trillion in unfunded liabilities such as SS, Medicare, Federal pensions, and now ObamaCare.  Then there's state and local debt and unfunded liabilities, trillions more...

What happens when interest rates rise to a 'normal' level?  Or if we even simply start reducing spending and balance the budget?

It was out of control by the 1990s, it isn't even talked about anymore.

Brother paladin1991 true so freaking true.. I wish we could pull every MF soldier home and let the world deal with their on shit for once. As seen what war does to people mentally and physically peoples eyes seem to open up. Like we say "I support the troops" the first words out "are"  ;)  mouths is how. I throws them for a loop every time. We do this not to be mean but to make a point that words for the most part are hollow. Action must be taken to get things done words "our" ;)  good and inform but action is what is needed. We as Americans have become lazy thinking others are going to do things for us. Well nobody is coming to help our country. So we as citizen need to learn that it is up to all of us to start taking action to move to a brighter future. Funny thing it only took III% of the population to make this the United States of America. We need to start being more about action instead of relaxing!!1

Simple end the Federal Reserve, as well as stop the war machine. What we spend on are military is insane. The fact is take the next nine most powerful countries and put them together and we still out spend them.  Also stop giving hand outs to corporations. The hands out to the people of low income is nothing compare to the hand outs to the rich. Do not be fooled with the so called war on the poor. Do not the the elite brain wash you into thinking that the poor is a thorn in societies side!!1

Romans did that to everyone, not just Christians.  But the popular view is that Romans somehow picked exclusively on the Jesus freaks. No, if you weren't a citizen you were a Barbarian, and it was off to the arena, slave markets, farms with you regardless of race, religion, colour, or sexual preferences.

One interesting thing about those early Christians, however, was their proclivity towards wanting to be martyred in the arena.

Go figure.

NB> Anyone interested in the Roman Empire should get hold of the series of lectures by Garrett G Fagan. There's likely no better place to start.

That`s a bit simplistic and not exactly correct, but you feel free to hate on, brother. Hate on.  ;D

Kelt

It's simplistic because I'm writing a couple of sentences on a forum, rather than crafting a detailed dissertation on the mechanics of the Roman Empire... so hopefully you can understand the brevity and find it within yourself forgive the lack of detail.

As for correctness, it's more than correct enough for the sake of this thread. And as for 'hating", damn, but you must be one sensitive princess if you think there was any hate in my post  ;D

NO shit.  'We' can conjure up a Trillion dollars to bail out the banks that are to big to fail, and yet, cannot 'piss away'
a few billion to feed and heal our pop.
Fuck the pigs.  It's time to take them to market.

I've heard quite a few people claim that the average peasant/serf in the middle-ages gave far less of their real income (of course usually in field yield or in whatever they produced) in taxes to their landlords/government/kings/Popes than we do today and worked far less hours than workers did at the "prime" of the industrial revolution- but even worked less hours than the average workers does today. The governments, and banks now, take far more of your pay and labor than they did in the middle ages. Now, granted, we get better roads, more crime, more porn, reality television, and awesome CGI Hollywood movies from our payments in taxes and usurious banking schemes but better off? At least working hours wise? Any statistics that really show this claim?

Of course not, Albrecht.  No Bureaus of Statistics bothered charting the working lives of serfs and peasants, who had no freedom of assembly, rights to free speech, rights to property, and were sharecroppers, at best.  Then the Chuch would burn them for trying to learn or read. Or think for themselves.  Or rub one out in the forest.

Besides, there are many countries paying a far greater share of income than we are for services to enhance quality of life (and life expectancy). Want to die at 33?

Plus, leeches to cure what ails you?

Rail against taxes all you want, it's commodity pricing that was robbing you all these years.  Enjoy cheaper gasoline.  Plus, the cocoa "shortage" will dry up after Christmas.

I already know all that stuff.... But how does any of that enslave us? We all have the benefits of public services paid by taxes and user fees (transportation, parks, educations, entertainment, social security, utilities, bill of rights police protection, military, modern health care, the list goes on and on)

I'd rather be an enslaved person living in the US today than royalty living less than a 100 years ago.
Take a risk and start business if you want more. The modern royalty (business owners) ain't taking any bread out of our mouths.

Pick the above apart, let's see what you got, rather than some silly videos, that are used to rally the uninformed, that don't understand the benefits of a modern regulated capitalism system.

The leech stereotype is a bad one; one of the few things in old-style barber/surgeon health practices that makes some sense.
http://www.livescience.com/203-maggots-leeches-medicine.html

Having said that certainly we in the developed nations exhibit much better lives due to our technology- despite whatever the Greenpeace/Unibombers/Leftists might say- and the use of our natural resources. But some people in places like Africa and Asia might wish to be on par with serfs in some parts of the Middle-Ages though, or at least back when the Europeans were in charge of their region (maybe not the Belgians, Germans, or Portuguese though.) And even though the statistics might be accurate on "working hours" this is also simply due to having to use natural light and deal with the seasons and with problems of collection- whereas now we have well-lit workplaces so can work 24/7 (at least for a time) and confiscatory taxation can be done with a few keystrokes of a bureaucrat's computer keyboard.

ps: the commodity pricing manipulation has been done for centuries (some good intentioned- to help farmers and feed hungry cities and some for ill-simply to make a lot of money or as economic warfare against people, other countries, other classes, etc.) What is crazy is that these bankers and Gore Jr types want to add "weather", like ENRON did, and "carbon" into the commodity pricing and futures market fiasco to also be manipulation and new bubbles to form. Because this will stop the global warming, climate change, climate disruption (and make them a pretty penny.)

If you know everything then why do you ask questions you already have the answers too? Like the majority of your taxes go to nothing but to pay the interest on the money we have borrowed from the Federal Reserve. See I make it simple with videos because people are blind to what is going on. But if you are happy with your life then keep doing your thing. Some of the rest of us are not happy scraping by while others make millions off are back. I suppose you know how the Federal Reserve works and are happy with that as well. So work till you're 76 and retirement to Florida like everyone else. Capitalism is nothing more than corporations owning you and I will never give my life to a company that cares nothing for me. I enjoy living my life and not killing my self day in and day out to a boss so he can buy some more shit he does not need!!1

No, that was the landed gentry and nobility.  You know, the people you (and the Church in Europe) laud and support.

Just got in.  Howdy NIT, where you been?

Do you think all is well here in America?  I don't think you do.  I gotta be honest, this is not the America I grew up in.  Nor is it the one I left home to serve.  America should have grown greatness, not sunk in depravity.
Ah, well, gotta get some coffee.
