The thing that boggles my mind, and bothers me, is this. I signed up for Sirius for the year.. paid my money. Art quits, and frankly I listen to nothing else on Sirius... so now I am stuck where Sirius tells me to keep the service for 'free' for another month 'in case the show comes back,' Art says he wants to possibly negotiate coming back, Keith is silent when I ask him questions, and we are all still left ....in a sort of dark part of dark matter..
Can someone please get Whitley to call Art and talk him off this zany ledge?

Shows are imperfect, you work with him. Nothing will ever be perfect. DARK MATTER was a million times better than 'the other show' ...
Concerning the loss of the fan base, I not only thing they 'came home' in a sense to Art, but it was actually expanding...

The question I had for Art is how he expects to regain his base by alienating it with this decision. If he streams online brought his website or another service will anyone follow if they feel they will just get burned again?

Not me, nor was I different when Art was here posting twice today. I don't take back anything. Art has never changed since he was a kid. That man really needs to grow up. Sure having a complaint is one thing, but Art crying wolf zillions of times is another. This time I hoped Art actually had grown up. But no such luck. Art is still Art.

The fans of sports spend -way- more money in going to the games, buying the gear, buying season tickets, paying for TV outlets where their teams games are only televised, yet do we see the same vicious attacks, threats and regret when their team loses?
No. These sports fans continue to buy the tickets, go to the games, watch the games on tv and pay over the odds at the stadiums for  concession foodstuffs and parking.

WTF?  You do realize that when people shell out good money for tickets, or a better analogy would be season tickets, and they go to the game, the teams well, you know, ACTUALLY PLAY THE DAMN GAME! 

But to your manner of thinking, Pittsburgh Steelers fans would show up at the stadium, in week 6 of the season, and when the team REFUSES TO TAKE THE FIELD, citing some petty grievance like the wifi in the players lounge sucks, and no refunds are offered, the fans should shrug and say "s'all good".

Nope.  There would be a mob, alright.

Other radio shows:

I don't know why each of you might be interested in art bell's show or shows of that ilk, but I can't get my fix from anything but paranormal-esque stuff. Having said that, Sean David Morton's show on Freedom Slips radio is fairly decent if you realize it's almost total b.s. through and through. Of course, I'm willing to bet most paranormal shows are populated with b.s., but Sean has some flair. And it's far more insane than much of what he said on art's show, back in the day. But I don't listen to be informed, so if that's your deal I wouldn't recommend it. It turns out Sean believes in British Israelism, if you know what that is.  It's total insanity.

Conspiracies bore me, for the most part, but I do like Veritas from what I've heard and red ice creations. The red ice creation's guy has an interesting accent. Don Ecker's great, too. You know, this whole ordeal has left me questioning why I am so compelled to listen to things I have no belief in whatsoever. Hmmmmng. A substitute for Church?
