Like many of you, I signed up for Sirius solely to listen to Art.  I had Sirius a few years ago since it came with my new car, and I allowed it to lapse, since I didn't find much worth listening to.  I still feel that way, so I do feel that I wasted around $200.

I liked Spooky Matters.  The callers were much more intelligent than the usual babblers who call in to other shows.  I did not miss the inane ramblings of his "base" who didn't follow him to Sirius.

I will miss Art, but what about Dave Schrader?  He was great on C2C.  I am thinking I will start listening to him.  As much as I hate to admit it, maybe it is time to move on from Art.  I feel like I have spent a lot of energy/money in the last 6 months or so and have only a handful of shows to show for it all.

I was angry last night, but now I am just disappointed.

Hello all. Long time lurker, first time poster here.

I've listened to art since I was 10 years old, and I'm 28 now. I literally remember going to school tired the next morning many days because I stayed up listening to art bell. Suffice to say I've been through all the retirements and this last strange adventure of anticipation. Now I honestly can't even stand to hear his voice after this. I know, judging from what I've read, that most all of us are angry about this, but how many of you are just set on edge to even hear him? Like, if you go back and listen to an old show, it just bothers you now.

Well, never posted here, but need to say THANKS ART for many many years of great show.

Look, if this was the first time that Art had a complaint, fine. But it isn't, Art has done this his whole life! Okay Art has done this zillions of times throughout his life. But now he is older, hopefully wiser, married a girl (who was barely able to drink legally) like 3 months after his soul mate died, etc. Ok, well here we go with a new start.

So Art, the great talker that he is convinces even those of us who had doubts that this time is different. Satelite is the future and AM is dead. Sells us on Sirius subs and sells us satelite radios.
