I was just thinking the other day about who would end up replacing Art when he permanently retires... and having a network of hosts (which he seems to be very willing to give new people a try!) in which the most promising can rise to the top? It's like American Idol, only much more interesting, not stupid, and something I'd actually, you know... watch/listen to.

Maybe re-name the Subject: "Art Bell Quits Dark Matter" to "Art Bell Quits SM/Dark Matter, Starts Dark Matter Network"
Then both the quiting and the new network can be discussed side by side with out the silly trolls crying to much. Just a thought, this has been a fun topic/subject to read and post to.

I missed the first show as well.  I am hoping they'll set up an RSS stream soon that I can subscribe to!  I imagine you can do this for all the individual shows but it would be cooler to subscribe to an itunes/rss feed of Dark Matter Network.

It's strange but my Mini Mouse and Mickey Cat learned on their own how to use a litter box, while Fluffy and Fuzzy never did.

I guess its because they never have quite gotten over them being feral for so long.

There will never be another Art Bell, however as to interviewing technique, Jim Harold is my number one favorite in Art's absence. I'm sorry I missed him tonight. He has not had the quality of interviewees, though and I always think back to Art making damn sure there was good phone audio,too. 

I hope Jim is on again, and I would LOVE EVP's!
