Art Bell Quits Dark Matter

That was a heck of a lot more interesting than listening to a bunch of EVP's, or listening to The snorge interupt his guest to give some stupid Been there Done that story from his childhood. Did he even have a childhood?

Art Bell

 Ha,

Small steps. It is filling up so fast that by the time I can go on there will be no space for me!
I love it, good ideas have a way of building pretty fast. As I keep saying, just wait and see, I bet the next
great Paranormal Broadcaster will be born there.

Oh, I think everyone involved will work around YOUR schedule.   :)  Congratulations! The stream sounds great!

It was cool to hear a show straight through with no commercial interruption.  That said I did like the limited breaks on dark matter, especially with the bumper music as it gave you a chance to think over the topic discussed and built anticipation for the next segment.

He's too busy doing show prep.

$noory's show prep for tonight is waxing his mustache while admiring himself in the nude in front of his full length porno mirror for hours.
With his disco ball rotating overhead while he sings the theme from Saturday Night Fever.

Mr. Hanky

I'm not a troll. I'm far from it (see my previous posts). I've listened to Art since around 1996-97. He's good. I always enjoyed him and his guests. Why do you people kiss his ass and adore him though? Am I missing something? Is this a chick club? I don't get it. Art Bell quit his show. For whatever speculative reason, he quit the show. Move on.

I post rarely on this site. I usually come here once a week or so to check up on news. I don't comment a lot. But I have to tell you, if you (the same 10 people) dedicating your lives to Art Bell in these comments, you really need to examine your priorities. Jesus H. I love Art, but you people are lunatics. Get laid or something. Christ. Shit isn't that bad.

Thanks everyone for listening...and, of course, thanks to Art Bell and the whole DMN team...it was a blast, look forward to the coming weeks!

Dark matter network is a great idea.  Excited to see where it all goes.

Damn it Falkie!  Now I have that picture in my head. >:(  You're a brat, ya know that?

Hello Art, good start to the new Network. In six months I can see the entire week and all the days full with new and interesting cast/shows. I and my wife have but one request: Please no more EVP's. Ghost stories are alright, but EVP's, personally I think they suck, and that most of them are pure sensationalism. The scientific/speculation shows are great. UFO's, Ancient Civ, even Big Foot is better than EVP's.

If things work out, you'll be doing your show from the vegetable garden with bunnies as your co-hosts.

;D

Art,
I just wanted to say that I have been listening to you since 1993, on KGO radio in San Francisco.
I remember the ads about the 'Levetron'

I totally agree about the bumper music. It is still is a big part of Art's show.

I hope there isn't a big fee to stream music on a show like the one Art is going to do. On the other show the music is eliminated for the downloadable podcast. Is there a licensing fee to stream the music?

Aw I love the EVPs. It's just that the Chumley guy sorta seemed off to me... personal opinion.

Like Bugs, I can be a stinker all right.

;) :D

It could be worse.

YOU could have ME in front of a full length mirror and singing $noorge's version of Viva Las Vegas. My gf has mirrored closet doors and ...

I don't know why her landlord installed them but they're there and were before she moved in.

Art doesn't talk about the Levitron any more since the bunnies took it and used it to levitate to and from his veggie garden.

O-kay, I guess we all have our favorite topics, how about this, we do not bring Lonesome Dave from Lonely Mountain in Alaska back to talk about the iliminati, EVP's are a bit better than that.

Mr. Hanky

I give up. You people are nuts. You have gone off-topic with this "Art Bell Quits Dark Matter" thread and chat about other stuff that has nothing to do with Art Bell. So be it.

I read Noory's latest contract with PremRad.  He forced them to add a "Non-Complete" Clause.

I dont like the EVP's either. Art gave fair warning but i listened anyway and that night after i went to bed i felt a presence in my room. Once i mustered the courage i told it to get lost. I wont listen to another one of those again   ???
