This thread has been de-railed by Fidget and is no longer about the GabCast, but rather Fidget himself and all his follies.  I would suggest his groupies whom I've dubbed  "Fidget's Bitches", would tend to his ego in HIS thread. We were talking about business and where the creating of content got me.  The videos were simply an example.  Some people get hung up on examples too much. 

And I didn't bring up my videos.  He did.   I didn't bring up the number of views I had, He did.   I posted my videos in the Youtube thread a while back.  Only stating I was proud of those videos, nothing more.   I didnt shove my mundane creations down this community's throat like fidget has on multiple threads.  You're backing the wrong horse.  All of the narcissism and ego you claim I have but NOTHING to show for it. 

Tell you what Bart, If i come to this forum 17 years from now bitching about how my career faceplanted because of ONE deal that went bad, then feel free to put me in the same boat as this dildozer, Mr Idget       If he didn't whine so much about "everyone being against him" maybe his story wouldn't be so bad to listen to.    But he was on Art's show, he promised a product, fucked it all up, and now is here taking it out on this thread.  Take your personal opinion about me aside for a second and seriously please answer me on how his actions make any sense.

Yes.  Without company support, hitting 1mil views on content you make is a small milestone for that particular medium of media.  I can post my appreciation for passing that.  Just as anyone here posting about a promotion they got.  You seem to have some contempt for success. Or at least successful people.   Remember this is all predicated on a post of mine you are digging up from months ago.   Humoring you on this discussion is technically a waste of time but since I dont know your story, nor have i heard you on a national radio show, scamming people out of their money.  So there is a respect for your opinion but if its on the behalf of this fraud,  cant really take it seriously.

And its reasonable to assume that being proud of the videos, as well as their views would be one in the same under the umbrella of pride for that particular project. I don't generally bring up my accomplishments until I see someone like Fidget, feeling sorry for himself for almost 20  fucking years.  And has refused to move on in life.   

Also, while i find the Trump comment cute,  I am far from rich.  I just make enough to defend myself in a conversation if told I make "zero pay" like I was earlier. Especially by someone that appears to have failed in every aspect of business.  So i feel comfortable saying I "make" more than he does.  Collecting a check each month doesnt count at "income" to me.   Which is the only way he could sustain his current living conditions and still have time to cut up mats all day.

Glossing over a tutorial in how youtube works, Ill summarize by explaining to you that copyrighted materials are exempt from having public statistics shown.  That's a YouTube rule. Not a setting.  And you still haven't mentioned which video in particular you are talking about.  If its an older video, rules have changed with youtube since its upload. Anyway, boring topic.

Staying on task,  If you are against people being piled up on, I can respect that. If you can invite the notion that he might be bringing alot of it on himself by trying to reply to insults from users on every front.   And you are correct, saying he should blow his brains out was probably a little much.  But traditionally in these cases, where someone dwells this hard on something for this many years, it only has 2 outcomes. And one of them is messy.  Whichever path he takes, he need to do it ASAP.   Remaining here is not doing him ANY good.   

So are you saying you are defending his story, or are you just standing up for the underdog here? And why don't I see you chiming in at some of the older regulars here for giving him so much shit?  I see alot more vicious comments than the ones I am making.

And I really dont see a problem piling up on someone who has stated they only wanted to tell their story, told their story and stayed to troll because he didn't get the sympathetic response he was expecting.  He has stated on some posts that he saw the insults on the thread named after him and was a factor in his participation.  What does that tell you?  That his motivations for getting involved on the forum were based on how butthurt he was about the opinions expressed here about him.    Is all this information just being ignored by you about him?   

I didn't just come out of nowhere and pounce on some random dude because everyone else was.  I looked up a few more details about his story, it all pointed to bullshit. And the arrogance that other people have even commented on, clearly came through as i was preparing to tell him to try a new business venture.   That was my initial plan, was to tell him to stop whining and market something else. But he just got douchier and douchier that it was harder to give him "positive" criticism.  It's whatever tho.  We could argue till we are blue in the face and at the end of the day the guy is still a loser who wasted his talent in a sea of emotional, psychological problems.

He was bragging about his 'art' being in the Tron movie.  Which im sure no one saw or gave a fuck about in the film.  He has no proof of any of his claims.  Everything I've done is on articles such as Wired, Slashdot, whatever.   Put down your pom poms and scroll up to read the stuff he wrote.  And I seriously doubt people were hanging on to Art's show the night they had this world class boner on.  So throwing his listener base at the number of views and attention my video has is pointless unless you can prove millions WERE listening while he was on.  I can prove where my views came from

I don't need to hand out bullshit dvd's of my work in the hopes someone will come along and pay my rent for me.  Once you establish your signature product that people want, you dont need to update shit like linkedin, because you already have all the business contacts you need. And any further contacts you make will be made using grassroots, word-of-mouth strategy.  I dont need 3million business contacts. I need a handful of IMPORTANT ones. Quality, not quantity. Something else you failed to learn on your fidgetty endeavor.  But please stay gone and good riddance.
