It's a little weak for me, no dynamic, just a guy reciting his schtick. It's the exact opposite of Hoagland. Not enough host interaction.

Dave needs to interject more so that brings the energy level up and prevents the guest from just rambling on with his memorized schtick.

Dracula (George Hammilton) - Love at First Bite
Ha ha!
Yeah, and so far no Dracula, even.

There was a program from the 1980s that hypothesized that Jack The Ripper was in fact The Loch Ness Monster.

maybe..but not being interrupted or talked over every 30 seconds is refreshing..but not so sure about the guest..he's a lil..flaky

Yeah.  I think his links between Dracula and the Ripper are rather tenuous.  I'm sure he pitched the book to his publisher and the publisher said great but the facts supporting his claim are thin. Sure, Dracula is a product of the time but so were other books.  Dr. Jekyll And Mr. Hyde came out in 1886 just prior to the Ripper and maybe Stevenson was a bit of a prophet.  Or maybe the killer got the idea from that story. That would make a far more compelling book, I would think.

All night this guest has been reminding me of somebody....  Finally figured it out:

bye bye farfle

I doubt Stoker was gay.  No gay man back then could write that scene in the book with Harker and the vampire brides.  Of course maybe he was bi.

That was actually part of the "Amazon Women on the Moon" movie.

But does this mean Jack the Ripper was a rod?

I've often felt the same thing. He seems to be so much better on his own show. I think he feels, constrained might be the right word, on C2C. He has his own channel on TuneIn. I listened to the first part of his Friday night show and he was excellent talking a short time about Prince and then really engaged in a great "conversation" with the guest. Good Dave questioned the guest on all the usual contradictions in Christianity then went on to Afterlife topics when I fell asleep.

The good news is we get a bonus Knapp night tonight  8)

When Dave hosts, I listen to Coast.  I think he does a great job!

Was Springheel Jack a fallen angel?

Schrader is who I listen to now that Art is gone. Does a great program although I listen only to his and not coast.

I do too. I like Schrader a lot. His C2C shows are uniformly good.

Paranormal researcher and story teller, Dark Waters, joins Dave Schrader (email) for the full program, to discuss mysterious encounters of the South - Dogmen, witches, vampires, banshee, Black-Eyed Kids, ghosts, and the memories of Edward Lockett III, whose family had multiple encounters with Dogmen in the 1940's that led to them being forced to leave their home.

i'm more interested on Sunday

Date:   Sunday - May 8, 2016
Host:   Dave Schrader
Guests:   Graham Phillips, Andrew Collins
First Half: Historical detective Graham Phillips joins Dave Schrader (email) to present compelling evidence that suggests King Arthur was a real living warrior who led the Britons around the year 500, and that the legendary Camelot, Excalibur and Avalon were based on a real city, a real sword and a real island.

Second Half: Author and researcher Andrew Collins offers an intriguing hypothesis to the enduring legend of Atlantis. He argues that what Plato recounts is the memory of a major cataclysm at the end of the last Ice Age, when a comet devastated land masses in the Caribbean. He'll reveal evidence of sunken ruins off the coasts of both Cuba and the Bahamas, ancient complexes spanning more than 10 acres that indicate urban development and planned road systems.

Same, sounds like an interesting show. I also hope the guest brings in the Anglo-Israelism stuff and being a member of one of the Ten Lost Tribes.

As aforementioned, this looks like a solid couple nights.  Tomorrow night's guest was on Schrader's own show recently, and it was a good listen.  Unfortunately I didn't catch a lot of it- plan to rectify that tomorrow.

Love everything about New Orleans.  Just finished my fifth visit in 10 years.  It does have a pull.  What a pleasure to hear this guest; scary stories a plus.

Or it sounds like a modern take on the Aryan Myth where Atlantis is turned the home of a white super-race that built the pyramids and other megastructures in Africa, Asia, and The Americas.
